Look at this:
CM Punk: I think Daniel Bryan being ranked number one is dead on.
Chris Jericho: He's already in my opinion a superstar and he's just going to continue to show us his upside.
William Regal: He's very very good and he deserves what he gets.
Christian: You know, some people have him pegged right off the bat to win NXT.
Josh Mathews: Daniel Bryan is ready to go in a lot of people's opinions.
The Miz: Daniel Bryan is number one. How is he number one?
Michael Cole: And Bryan loses another match-up, he's beaten no one.
William Regal: Daniel Bryan and Miz is like oil and water together.
Christian: He's got a long tough road but with all the negatives that Miz is trying to throw out at him, I think if anybody could come it'd probably be him.
The Miz: Maybe if he'd listen to me, he'd be a winner.
Matt Hardy: Daniel Bryan now has to prove he can have a personality. Because you need a personality to survive in WWE. If he can achieve that I see nothing but great things in his future.
---------
So basically, all the pro's respect him except The Miz. The only other person to say a bad thing about him is Michael Cole.
If you don't think there's a pay off to this then you're a bit blind. I do agree it's dragging on though.

Eh, we wrestling fans have never been known for our patience, and I admit that I do feel that they have plans for Bryan, but jesus this losing schtik is getting old.

I agree totally and would like to add that I would like to see Danielson wrestling and not GIVING AWAY PROGRAMS on tv.

I just hope they don't say that he lost all of those matches on purpose for some silly reason.

Whatever they have planned for this to go, I bet Punk's happy he's not in Bryan's place.

I will say they need to give Michael Cole new material. At first it was funny, but bow his bashing gets old. He ripped on Bryan for giving away the programs... that's fine, he never seems to take the contests seriously. But Tarver constantly quits them, and yet walking off and quitting is still somehow better then giving programs away for free and getting the crowd behind you.

I think it depends who you are: Bryan doesn't bother (gives away programs): Idiot Tarver doesn't bother (walks off): Stupid Barrett doesn't bother (takes money): Brilliant

I think they're also trying to get other people over. Besides, losing doesn't hurt. I watched NXT for the first time in awhile recently, and I'm really digging Michael Tarver, and how his character is progressing. With Bryan, I'm guessing they'll wait til 0-10 for him to start winning.

I doubt this happens but I hope that he cuts a promo saying.." daniel bryan is 0-9, but me, bryan danielson, I am still undefeated."

Assuming he beats Miz for the U.S. Title at Fatal 4-Way or whatever, I do wonder how he'll fare on Raw. It wouldn't have been a good place for him before the draft, and it's an even worse place for him now. They really should have swapped Miz and McIntyre.
I do think he'll be fine, though.

the only pay off that makes any sense is that he goes on a crazy winning streak starting NEXT WEEK (0-11 already) and he squahes Miz for the US ttile

It's nice how people still have faith in WWE. I won't until AmDrag's success actually happens.

I was optimistic that this angle would eventually lead to somewhere. But there is a huge difference between pushing Jericho to the limit in a highly-competitive match and getting squashed by Skip Sheffield.

It's nice how people still have faith in WWE. I won't until AmDrag's success actually happens. Bryan's making more money than he's probably ever been paid for wrestling before, and has to do significantly less physically-demanding work with less risk of a permanent injury along with it. I'd say he's succeeded already. But don't mind me, I also never saw what was supposed to be so soul-crushingly humiliating about Chavo Guerrero getting plenty of mic time and a weekly segment on RAW during a period when the majority of the midcard was being marginalized.

I think theyre going down the route of Bryan losing on purpose as a way of making The Miz look bad as a mentor and once Bryan is free of The Miz he will win matches and win the US title
