He lost to HBK the night after Summerslam, then worked a tour of South Africa. Then he had just one more match at the 1996 Survivor Series on the Savio/Snuka/Flash Funk team.

Cornette brought Vader in as the "crown jewel" of his stable. Yokozuna was not pleased by this. Vader did not like Yokozuna because he was the new big man. Cornette sided with Vader. Yoko turns face. Fuji (on a very part time sched at that time) is de facto face too. |

Yea Yokozuna last match I think on us TV was Survivor Series. I don't remember anything from him after that WWE wise.

I just remember Yokuzuna losing to HBK, and after the match Jim Cornette got in Yoko's face, berating him and then Zuna pushed him, face turn complete. And he never got back to main event status ever again. |

It was actually a week later. In what you were talking about, Diesel (who was still working toward his heel turn) was wrestling Bulldog, and Yoko tried to interfere, and accidentally legdropped Bulldog, costing him the match. Cornette was not happy. Later that night, Yoko was wrestling Shawn, and Owen tried to interfere, and accidentally kicked Yoko. Yoko was not happy. The following week, it was Shawn and Diesel vs. Yoko and Bulldog. Yoko was knocked out of the ring, and Owen and Bulldog tried to lift him back in, but were unsuccessful, and he was counted out. Vader didn't have much to do with it until later, as he was "suspended" (actually had shoulder surgery) for attacking Gorilla Monsoon.
