One man's crap...
I loved it. Loved it, want to marry it and impregnate it. In all my 26 years of watching wrestling, I've never ever seen an ending like that. Just when I think I've seen it all (exploding barbed wire matches, wrestling turkeys, a guy in Japan getting his head lit on fire), leave it to Vince to show me something new. Seriously, can anyone honestly say they saw that ending coming? Was it ridiculous and over-the-top? Of course it was! This is wrestling! It's SUPPOSED to be over-the-top! And look who we're talking about here--there is no more over-the-top character in an over-the-top business than Vincent Kennedy McMahon. The only way that this would be ruined is if he showed up next week or whatever. He has to be off-camera for AT LEAST a year, preferably forever.
And you know what? This was probably the first "HOLY $#!*" moment in wrestling in a long, long, LONG time.
And boy oh boy, I canNOT wait for what's inevitably coming next--that's right...the funeral!
Before labeling it "Gooker of the Year," let's see where this goes. I believe--no, in honor of the late, great Vincent Kennedy McMahon, I guarantee it's going to be a helluva ride.

My previous statement stands. The problems with pulling off the angle, the logical legal ramifications and the aftermath is too much. It's too much, and it cannot be paid off successfully with a wrestling match, which is still the company's beard and butter. It's senseless shock TV garbage, surprising or not. Jed Shaffer ~Mark my words ... it wins the Gooker, regardless of the ending.

I would like to state that yes, I did see it coming. As soon as Vince was walking around somber I knew a fake death angle was coming, didn't know it'd be the limo, might have been a jump from the Titan tron, but I knew it.

Jed, I might not be one to listen to, since I do honestly think that the Bossman disrupting the Big Show's Daddy's funeral is one of the greatest moments in wrestling history. I'm not kidding. Oh, and by the way, after last night I want to see a public affairs show hosted by Jimmy Snuka and the Iron Sheik.

I will guarantee it will win the gooker, but only because people only seem to vote for the biggest but not necessarily the best.
But I'm one of the few who doesn't think this is murder. Hence no legal ramifications. While suicide is a rather tasteless angle, it is a pretty well done one IMO.

We've seen a lot of things that would result in legal ramifications over the years. Stone Cold's attempted murder of Pillman. Droz dealing drugs which eventually lead to Hawk's suicide off the Titantron. We also saw Undertaker kill Paul Bearer with no legal ramifications.
Sorry, had to get that off my chest.
This could be a great angle. But I fear it will drag on as long as the "who ran over Stone Cold" one did (in regards to finding out who did it"
The set up was great, all the people saying how much they hated Vince. Foley's list of people that didn't want to come to say anything adds more suspects.
I think this is to get Lashley to turn heel as he "suffered" the most

I think RD and Blade definately need to talk about this segment this week.
If they don't, we should proceed to tar and feather them.......I kid.

I think there should be no vote for the Gooker this year. This one takes the cake.

Since no one else bothered...
"With the deepest regrets and tears that are soaked, I'm sorry to hear your dad finally croaked. He lived a full life on his own terms; soon he'll be buried and eaten by worms. But if I could have a son as stupid as you, I'd have wished for explosions so I would die too! So be brave and be strong; get your life on track-- 'cause the old bastard's dead and he ain't never coming back!"

As I have said i am sure it is a faked death so he can come back at the Night of Champions to try and take Cena's title. it was definitely not "murder" from how they set it up, however with WWE today, well, they change their mind so much you never know where they may end up. Nancy Pulosi probably did it.

wether it was indeed "murder" or if he "faked his own death" (using quotes for the purpose of kayfabe), Coach is involved.
Scenereo A: Murder. Vince is in a confused, almost crazy state of mind and heads for the limo, Coach tells him the limo is the "other" way, and he goes to his death.
Scenereo B: Faked death Coach, knowing what is being planned reminds Vince that the rigged limo is the "other" way
One also has to look at the way he dealt with Lashley for some clues.

If nothing else, we've at least learned from this that people will defend ANYTHING the WWE does.

IMO there is only one thing that could save this, if he faked his own death. It would get major heat(no pun intended). I don't even know if that could save this.
The other options are:
a) He is dead in kayfabe, which would totally kill kayfabe because he is obviously going to be seen somewhere and is going to have to do work for the company.
b) He survived, which is stupid because he freaking exploded.

Ya know, since ECW's on Sci-Fi Channel these days I think they should do an homage to Sci-Fi's most popular show, Battlestar Galactica: An identical limo to the one that Vince blew up in shows up in the middle of RAW. The Vince appears in the window, alive and well:
"I've been to parts unknown, and I'm going to take us there."
