Press Your Luck was a show before GSN existed.

Press your Luck was one of the greatest shows ever. Those Whammies scared the crap out of me when I was little. Remember how that one guy figured out the pattern then won something like $100,000?

The Whammies were creepy and everything but the scariest TV graphic of all time is the Current Affair pyramid. When I was little I would jump out of my skin when that thing slammed into focus. Even with today's new version, I find myself muting the TV during commercial breaks on Fox.
As for GSN, my whole day revolves aroung being able to catch reruns of Family Feud. I'm always hoping I can catch the WWF vs WBF week. I know Heenan hyped this at WM 8, but does anyone know who was on the WBF team? Specifically, was Luger one of them

Press Your Luck > Whammy! (the new, suckier version)
And GSN did a special not too long ago about the guy who won over $100,000 on Press Your Luck. The guy was a nutcase, though, and ended up dead shortly after.

Yes! A sig created inspired by a post of mine! That so totally reeks of awesomeness! ;D. Thanks Dave!
I only recently saw Whammy last week for the first time and never watched Press Your Luck (though I am finding the GSN channel to be quite addicting). I found it very stupid of how everyone said "NO WHAMMIES! NO WHAMMIES!" everytime the cursor goes across the TV's.

You can read up on Michael Larson here: gscentral.net/larsen.htmInteresting story, if anything. And yes, I did watch that special the GSN had on him a while back. Simply amazing.

The other game I could never watch was the Cliffhangers game on Price is Right. I was so scared that the little cardboard dude was going to fall of the mountain. and now i go... ::hiding in corner.

I kept waiting for the little cardboard dude to fall off. I do'nt think I ever saw it happen Really, cause I have seen maybe 2 or 3 people win that game, at least when I was younger. honestly, though, that game is pretty easy. The 3 Strikes game was incredibly cheep, especially when there were three strike chips in the bag instead of one. I mean, I think like 2 people ever won that game.

How come they don't show Tic Tac Dough. Maybe the Calicodragon would be too scary for infants.
