Let us remember Kurt Angle's Wrestlemania performances from his WWE/F career. From his great triple threat match for the EuroContinental titles, to his final World Championship defense. With all due respect to the Big Red Machine, I would have to say Angle's Wrestlemania X-8 match was the least entertaining or significant, and I remember thinking at the time it was signed that it was a throwaway match for two guys who had nothing else to do. Can anyone even tell me how the story behind that match even began?
Anyway, getting back to things, I'll say that his matches with Lesnar or Benoit had the best pure wrestling, but I was most entertained by his XXI match against Michaels. Thoughts?

Angle vs Michaels is my favourite match of all time, so I vote for that.

Eh, I think the Angle Vs. Michaels match was overrated. On arguably the worst Wrestlemania ever, it stood out because it actually didn't suck, but I don't think it was a "5 star" or "amazing" match, I thought it was just a very good match from two great wrestlers.
Anyways, my pick goes to the Angle Vs. Benoit match from Wrestlemania X-7, that match was just incredible.

His Eddie match was the best one he's ever done. That Michaels match is disgustingly overrated. Michaels basically killed the match 3x over towards the last 10 minutes. Best thing about that match? Was me and the rest of LA booing Michaels and cheering Angle.

Any time Angle and Benoit were against each other in any setting, it made for wrestling gold. X-7 gets my vote.

Benoit vs Angle
Perfect wrestling right there.

What's amazing is how he's never had a bad match at Wrestlemania. Kane/Angle was actually really good (one of Kane's best matches ever) until the horribly botched ending. And the triple threat this past year was just really short, but a good match nevertheless.
Personally, I went with HBK/Angle, just because I'm a hugh HBK mark too and this was a dream match.

Angle and Michaels. I was there live and it was such an amazing match. Definetly one of my favorite matches of all time.

Kurt vs. Benoit from WrestleMania is pretty overrated. The match stagnated between spots, and this became all the more conspicuous because the crowd wasn't entirely into it. Also, it had a crummy ending. Despite these faults it was still a well-rounded match though. I still don't get the praise it receives and the hype it received as it was a transitional phase in their feud rather than a climax to a long-standing feud (Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle's Iron Man match), a highly anticipated match-up (Shawn Michaels vs. Kurt Angle) or an important world title match between two brilliant workers (Eddie vs. Angle, Benoit vs. Angle at Royal Rumble). For example, from the same WrestleMania, Steve Austin vs. The Rock was better, even if they weren't as crisp in their actions.
Kurt's best WM match was against Eddie. It wasn't the main event like his match against Brock and wasn't as 'special' as his match against HBK, but I liked the wrestling better, and the finish was excellent. These are purely subjective though. Objectively, WM XIX's main event was displayed to a crowd tired from three hours of wrestling and (probably) better matches (plus, Brock screwed up), and the outcome to his match with Michaels didn't really matter; It was all about seeing the two have a cracker of a match, which isn't a thrilling excuse for a match from a kayfabe perspective. Eddie vs. Kurt, though, had an electric crowd, perfect wrestling and high stakes.
I still think that Benoit vs. Angle from the Rumble is the best match of the millennium. The match is absolutely perfect, yet receives ratings like '****3/4' because there was a chinlock or two in it. Big deal.

I don't think I agree with that part. Even for casual fans, which is the better of Kurt Angle and Shawn Michaels seems like a fun argument. I think that was the selling point of the match from a kayfabe perspective. I also voted for Angle/HBK.

Kurt's best WM match was against Eddie. It's one thing to say that was your favorite match, but it's another to suggest that it was his best Wrestlemania match. It was a very good title match, but you can't possibly tell me that it was a better match than Angle/Michaels. -.-

I discussed why I felt his match against Eddie was better than his match with Shawn as objectively as possible in my previous post. Unless your post, right there, was sarcastic, I can't quite tell.

I voted for Angle/HBK, but I think his match against Lesnar was most impressive due to the condition his neck was in at the time, yet he still had a **** match.

Angle/Eddie was a better match than Angle/HBK, but that isn't saying that the match at WM 21 wasn't great. Eddie was simply a better performer and better storyteller than HBK and I enjoy his matches more. Besides, Angle loses and I still enjoy watching that match more. That has to mean something.

There's a difference between "favorite" and "best". Applying "best" to specific criteria requires objectiveness. Michael Jordan might be someone's favorite basketball player, but that doesn't make him the "best". I could argue that Magic Johnson, Oscar Robertson, Bill Russell, and Wilt Chamberlain were all better players than Jordan. Do I believe that? Only in the case of Chamberlain. But I still have to have the presence of mind to rationalize that. Oh God, I just went college academia on pro wrestling. :\

to me it's a toss up between his match with Eddie at WM20, and his match with HBK at 21. I actually enjoy his match with Eddie more (the HBK match was great, but the last 10 minutes or so killed it for me)
