When he was IC champ and part of Evolution I was a huge mark for him... And I marked when he won the world title. But then after that he got stale and hasnt recovered. I hope one day I can mark out for him again./

Orton will get over if he actually does something that entertains fans. Being genuinely annoying won't do it.

I'd be into him if he could revive the US title with a run like his IC one

I dont think we will have him win the main title again for awhile. He would be great a great US champ, but then again that title barely exists anymore. He could definetly the title more legitamecy.

Randy Orton has the potential to be a GREAT heel character if marketed correctly. It's bizarre to hear people say that Orton won't get over because he's annoying. The very reason 99% of all heel wrestlers in the history of professional wrestling have got over.
He's a young guy, good looking, cocky, arrogant - he's a perfect candidate for the gimmic Shawn Michaels was pushed with in the early 90's.

Yeah but randy orton does the cocky annoying gimmick badly . . . . if comparedto true greats at that role like Mr.Perfect, HBK etc . .

RD, in my view it's because Randy O is mega-arrogant, which kind of prevents empathy. Plus, it seems too desperate an attempt to get him over, while, say, Dave Batista, Cena or RVD (originally) got over almost by accident. Also, I think he lacks presence.
