So does anyone know what the deal is with these dvds. I'm from the United States, but have seen these on play.com and amazon.co.uk, some of them include double sets of ppvs like Survivor Series 1989 And 1990 and King Of The Ring 1995 / 1996. Has anyone picked any of these up yet and if so do they contain the full show or does anyone know where I can get a complete listing of all the dvds in this series?

Okay so what I've figured out from this along with a review of one of the dvd sets at wrestling101.com is that a lot of the early shows are indeed clipped, but only because they were originally clipped by Coliseum home video way back when they were originally released because video costs less to reproduce in 2 hour packages then 3. But this still leaves me with some questions about this series such as in regards to the Wrestlemania I and II set running 232 minutes I don't recall this being clipped in the Wrestlemania set I purchased that included Wrestlemania's I-XIII on VHS, so were these shows originally only a little over 2 hours long? Also the sets seem to be comming out, out of order in some cases as while Wrestleman I and II came out first and then the set for III and IV was released, the dvd set for In Your House I and II came out and then instead of III and IV being released a set of XIII and XVI was released, so whats up with that, is there anyway to find out if plans for all the missing In Your Houses will ever be released???

They will not be released in the USA because Silver Vision (who are WWE's distributors in Europe) apparently won a court case to be able to sell old WWF dvd's (or so I heard anyway).
I have just about all of them, and the following are clipped shows :
Please note the UK Vhs copies of shows were slightly different to the US versions:
Wrestlemania 5 & 6 Survivor Series 1987 & 88 Survivor Series 1987 is cut up really bad. They actually clip the elimination of the British Bulldogs from the Tag team elimination match. AND Ted DiBiase's Thanksgiving Vignettes. (Thank God I still have the show taped off TV from all those years ago).

Multiregion DVD players are the way to go if you're in the US. And the thing is no stores carry them (at least as far as I know). Usually multiregion DVD players are refurbished one region players. But you can find multiregion players for sale in the "Used & New Markets" on Amazon.com. That's where I got mine.
Anbd you're definitely right about the clipping of matches. I got Wrestlemania III & IV & on WMIII the whole incident where Hercules macks Billy Jack Haynes with his chain is cut out. So out of nowhere Haynes is bleeding for no reason. Luckily I have WMIII U.S. Version on video. And according to what I just read here I guess I am better off buying the first couple of Survivor Series on video!
BTW.....WM 1 & 2 were originally clipped on video to fit 2 hours so it's not just Silvervision.

I have the second Survivor Series on original Silver vision video, and the first match (Multi tag-team with British Bulldogs, Heart Foundation, Demolition . . . .) Is the only one shown un-cut. The original video is still only 2 hours long, so im guessing the only way to own the full event is to have a copy recorded live off the tv when the event was shown?

All you need is a DVD player that plays PAL formatted dvd's(us dvd's are NTSC formatted), i found one at best buy for 60 bucks. You don't need a multi regioned dvd player, because tagged classics are all region 0...therefore regionless.
If you have an x-box, as do i. You can play them on there. I did that until i bought the 60 dollar dvd player.
Oh and rumor has it that the wwe is planning a box set of wrestlemania's. so you might wanna hold out on buying wrestlemania tagged classic dvd's.
