He was an entertaining annoncer at times and should be missed, whatever happened to him after he left the WWE anyways?

For me, this is like the geek trifecta. Someone from each of my dorky passions--sci-fi, comic books and wrestling--has died within days of each other. First it was legendary "Batman" artist Jim Aparo, then it was James "Scotty" Doohan and now it's Lord Alfred Hayes.
I always loved his Lordship, especially when on TNT he had Moondog Spot over for tea and looked utterly revulsed as Spot just totally wrecked everything. I particularly remember Spot dipping that bone he had in the tea.
And who can forget all those Sundays on All-American Wrestling: "Promotional Consideration Paid for by the Following..."
Let's raise our tea cups and give three cheers for His Lordship: HIP HIP, HOORAY! HIP HIP, HORRAY! HIP HIP, HORRAY!

I remember Lord alfred hayes sudden heel turn on the WWF special reports were he suddenly called paul Bearer a "shrewed toad" and laughed when Doink the Clown nailed Bob Backlund with an umbrella saying it reminded him of an old Bugs Bunny cartoon.

Ah Lord Alfred, I remember him from the old WWF Announcing days. I thought he was pretty good on the stick.

He was an entertaining annoncer at times and should be missed, whatever happened to him after he left the WWE anyways? He showed up in the short lived AWF (has the AWF been inducted into WrestleCrap?) as a heel announcer. -- LB
