What are your thoughts of Hogan returning to the red and yellow in WCW's dying years and coming out to a cheap knockoff of 'Real American' called 'American Made'?

I actually had that theme in my head the other day for some odd reason. I have no problems with the theme.
He didn't only use that theme during WCW's dying days. It's the same theme he used from when he joined WCW up until he formed the nWo.
The theme is also in the Legends of Wrestling video games by Acclaim and he used it in XWF too. Jimmy Hart wrote the song so I guess he owns it.

Yeah, that song is also on the Hulkster's CD that RD has covered on the site before. I liked that Red & Yellow comeback because that was certainly the longest us fans had gone without seeing it. It really had been a while since we'd seen The Orange Avenger in his Red & Yellow glory like that. Mark out moment. I admit.

Strange thing about this song on the Legends of Wrestling games is that in II (I don't own the first one so I can't say) the song was unaltered but in Showdown (III) it was only the music (no lyrics)! I wonder why they got rid of the lyrics?
You know I guess this song was pretty good for a knock off because I read a review for the Hulk Rules CD by some Hulkamaniac and he was claiming it was the song Hogan used in the WWF! It was good enough that it fooled that guy!

If I remrember right... Rick Deringer also played and sang on American Made just like he did on Real American.
And on the topic of Higan going back to Red & Yellow in WCW's dying days, I had no problem with that. NWO kinda ran it's course at that point.
The part I hated about it was the announcers saying "Which Hogan will we see? Will it be the Red & Yellow, will it be Hollywood, or will it be a combination of the two?" I thought that was the dumbest announcer bable I have ever heard. Frankly the only differance between Hollywood and R&Y Hogan was the color of his clothes and a can of spray paint.

Thanks for posting that. The only version of the song that I had was the crap version on the WCW Mayhem album that has the announcers talking during the song. Maybe RD can induct that album sometime. It has so many memorable WCW themes on it but most of them are screwed up by announcers or the wrestlers talking.

Well Hollywood would cheat using things such as eye pokes and his belt as a weapon. I also don't believe Hollywood ever Hulked up.
