The only major complaint I have about the Invasion story is that Matrix Jericho was way too similar to and obviously based off of WCW vs. nWo Crow Sting. I think something more original would be a better idea.

What If.........Edge hadn't broken his neck back in 2003?
Probably wouldn't have done much, but he would've been around when the new US Title came back and he would've probably ended up main eventing faster. And as a face, no less.

Sort of basing that whole Trish Stratus as a Horseman thing, I would like to see at some point if you could see what would've happened if Hennig had stayed with The Horsemen.

That, and re-reading the InVasion made me realise something was missing- There was no WCW to WWF jump. Just one would give a much bigger air of unpredictablity to the whole thing. Plus you have a perfect team in Kronik. Both former WWF employees, and their gimmick of hired guns. Vince lures them over, they fight for the Austin group, then at the end The People's Team force them back to Nitro where their contracts are, and volia, your Anti-Horsemen are formed easy, DDP, Booker, Kronik. The only problem with having someone jump from WCW to WWF in the story would be that the atmosphere was one where WWF hardliners didn't trust anyone with WCW ties, even people who'd worked there years before (see Jericho, Chris and Raven). So if they didn't trust people who'd left WCW before the company's demise, why would they trust a turncoat now? The only major complaint I have about the Invasion story is that Matrix Jericho was way too similar to and obviously based off of WCW vs. nWo Crow Sting. I think something more original would be a better idea. It was. I wanted Jericho to be the hero in the end, so he could get the push he did afterwards, but as the months of prep and writing wore on, I got exhausted for ideas. The Jericho/Sting connection wasn't intentional, that I can assure you of ... but yes, it wasn't terrribly original. Jed f'n Shaffer ~Then again, how many original storylines can there be?

I guess not.
And there's 14 and a half basic storylines in wrestling today. 18 and a half if you include Russo style shoot angles.

What if Hulk Hogan had not helped eliminate Sid in the 92 Rumble.
Hogan was shocked when Sid threw him out of the ring. He stared at his friend for a moment before reacting the only way he could. He applauded the younger man and reach up to shake his hand. That's when he saw Ric Flair sneaking up behind him. Yelling a warning Sid spun around and threw the former NWA and WCW World Champion over the top rope.

Well, I, for one, support you Jed.
And I'm not just saying that because I couldn't afford to buy you a laptop. Well, not a good one anyway.

Many thanks, sir. Appreciate the support.
Jed Shaffer ~Besides, this wouldn't be the first time RTB has gone on hiatus. Or the second. Or the third.

He's gonna repost the Higher Power and Invasion ones over the coming months. Well, those were nice, but.......... I just can't get my hopes up for that. Every time I go to that page, it's just gonna say "Armchair Booking: Part 1" and not have anything else. And I'll be sad.
