The whole Lesnar at 60% thing is a load of crap to sell that "you thought Lesnar was a beast before? you aint seen nothing yet". Promoter BS.
If Brock was ever going to come into a fight at 60%, it's going to be this fight with Shane Carwin because Brock has not fought for a long time and ring rust is real...especially for huge wrestlers with loads of muscles contingent on strength and athleticism.
I would say the longer the fight goes, the more it favors Carwin but that would be unfounded because Carwin rarely goes past the first 2 minutes of the first round, let alone round 2.
I have not really made a pick yet. It seems Carwin could probably knock somebody out with an open hand slap and i think the layoff for Brock can play a factor. On the other hand, Carwin is still kind of a mystery to me and he's not as big as Brock no matter how much Dana tries to play that up, and he's not nearly as athletic. I'll probably wait until fight night to make that call.

I know that. However, that does not mean he's as athletic as Lesnar though. That just means he's as good as Lesnar in wrestling, though we don't know who's better there. I never compared collegiate wrestling credentials or even skills sets at all. That does not mean Carwin is as athletic as Lesnar.
I was more so talking about speed, explosiveness, strength, etc. Lesnar is pretty much in a class of his own as far as athletic prowess for 265 pound fighters goes. Otherwise, he would not be the champion. Carwin could be as strong but from the fights i've seen from him in UFC, he does not have a lot of physical attributes that seperates Lesnar from the pack in the UFC in my opinion. I think if Brock wins it will be because he was bigger, faster, stronger, and more explosive than Carwin.

I pick Brock by decision. I'm rooting for Carwin though.

Where do you get the idea that Carwin isn't nearly as athletic? Carwin, and Brock are both NCAA heavyweight national champions. Yeah, but Carwin was a Division II National Champ. I'm assuming theres some difference between Division II and Division I. But basically these guys are almost identical on paper.
