I think DC cosmic characters can match up with Marvel's. For one thing, Phantom Stranger and Spectre are grossly overpowered characters also, both possibly more powerful than Galactus and the Celestials.

When I think cosmic, I think guys from space. Phantom Stranger is an immortal magical being and the Spectre is God's divine punisher. Though, you bring up a good point....I forgot about Spectre. Spectre won't do crap until an evil act is committed, if these DC and MARVEL guys are fighting to the death, Spectre is going to wipe out the ones who kill someone via an ironic death.

Can we find someone to switch out for Jean Gray?

For Marvel's side, what about Wolverine? In the comics, he has shown to be much more powerful than he should. Like that last scan, he beat the crap out of Lobo. In one comic, he was able to pierce the skin out of Thanos and made him bleed. He is always fighting the Hulk.

Unless he is free from his host then watch out! Guy is a badass.

Marvel villains would stomp on dc villains though.
Also where is Doctor Strange? Ditch Frank no a hero castle and bring in sorcere supreme.

The other thing with DC guys is that each one has a pretty defined weakness that can be exploited. Marvel's guys are more rounded.
And, just to reply to an earlier post about Galactus, don't forget that he was essentially created out of the premise that Lee wanted the F4 to face God. He is that powerful because he part of the cosmic balance - he isn't really a 'person', he's a force of nature.

Marvel's variant of the Spectre, the Living Tribunal, is a cosmic character though. If we were to pick any characters from the two companies out, they'd invariably be fighting each other to a draw.

I think on DC's side, Captain Atom should fight the Silver Surfer. He very overpowered theoretically(draws through the entire quantum field), though he has been shafted most of the time. How about the DC vs Marvel villains? I admit, Marvel has more powerful villains than DC, especially with we put Thanos in the picture. yeah. a lot of people forget that Captain Atom = Doctor Manhattan. Captain Atom may just be my favorite underrated superhero. and in a villain brawl, The Flash's rogues would beat anyone. they work very well as a team unlike most villains, spend most of their time fighting a guy with gamebreakingly powerful speed, and some of them (Mirror Master, Weather Wizard especially) have fairly broken powers themselves. Mirror Master is basically Captain Aizen from Bleach with a scottish accent and a coke problem.

Wait, no you didn't! Ha, it was an illusion all along, bitch!"? Great......

I have always said it and always thought it, but Superman is the most 'broken' character to have ever existed. Words can't describe how adamantly I disagree with this statement.

I think Orion can take down Marvel a peg or two, as I think he could give Silver Surfer a good fight.
How about Parallax? He should be at cosmic level.

Surfer defeated Parallax? That's interesting considering he was suppose to be this ultimate badass DC kept pushing.

I'm pretty sure that in one of the Bajillion Incarnations of the Masters of Evil or Brotherhood of Evil Mutants or even Sinister Six that some of them kept each other's contact information. And I'm pretty sure Magneto could mess the Mirror Master on up. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Some people's pure and sarcastic hatred for Batman in here is quite laughable to say the least.
