I know the joke has been around forever w/ the "you can't powerbomb Kidman!" facebuster counter, what I always thought was funny was that guys who never used powerbombs in their moveset would attempt them while in a Kidman match. What posses Rey Mysterio Jr to attempt a powerbomb? Is it glory? Fame? Fortune? To be true king of England?

as with a lot of things, the most logical answer is usually the right one: Billy Kidman is telepathic and used his mind-control powers to make guys like Mysterio powerbomb him just so he could counter it and make himself look good and them stupid. Billy Kidman is an asshole

I'm more amazed at Rikishi's ability to magically make opponents sit in the corner.

You dont decide to powerbomb Billy Kidman. He forces you to powerbomb him.

Did Hogan try in one of their encounters? I seem to remember him doing so, but that whole era is a blur.

One of these days, I'll take up a collection to fly down to Florida solely for the purpose of powerbombing him.
And it will be glorious.

It's like Cody Rhodes deciding to cross body Mark Henry off the top rope every match they have together...even though Rhodes never does that move any other time, nor as he ever hit Henry with it without being caught.

I'm more amazed at Rikishi's ability to magically make opponents sit in the corner. What about people always deciding to drape themselves between the ropes in matches against Rey Rey?

Same with opponents ability to hit their finisher at the perfect moment on The Undertaker, yet.. rather than go for a cover, they want to wander around for a while... then get all amazed when he sits up. Perhaps if you would've gone for the cover and won the match, you would've have minded him sitting up because you'd already be in the back, halfway through your post-match shower.

Speaking of Undertaker, what possesses opponents to keep using the punches in the corner against him? And then they always do a pose. It's like they want to take the Last Ride.
