A user on another wrestling forum posted this question: Does Rob Terry Remind anyone of Goldberg?
Now personally I don't see it. But is there any connection as far as how dominate Rob Terry has been as of late and comparing it to Goldberg's dominance? That is what the poster's reasoning is.

hes basically getting a goldberg push, weekly squashes in dominant fashion and doing stuff to sell him as a monster.
As far as comparing them, I think Goldberg had more 'umph' on his power moves, making them look more devastating

Not yet. Rob Terry's barely begun to rack up wins compared to how many Goldberg picked up. His push is pretty similar though.

Goldberg also got the push right away. I think that with Rob Terry you got to look at him a lot with the British Invasion so unlike Goldberg who broke on to the scene as a monster Terry has been on screen as a non-monster like character.

Goldberg looked the part more. Terry's a little too pretty boy, especially with that haircut.

He reminds me of Warlord more than Goldberg.

As soon as this whole monster thing started, that was my first thought. But he's been so forgettable prior to this, that I honestly don't remember what else he's done other than be part of the British Invasion and then... get kicked out? Leave?

I can see that. Especially given that Goldberg started the undefeated streak after losing to Steve McMichael, and Rob Terry started his after losing to Chris Sabin in a 3 on 1 handicap match.

I can see that. Especially given that Goldberg started the undefeated streak after losing to Steve McMichael, and Rob Terry started his after losing to Chris Sabin in a 3 on 1 handicap match. When did Goldberg loose to Mongo McMichael? I remember in WCW World War 3 1997 when Mongo attacked Goldberg with a pipe and then Mongo had to fight Alex Wright. Hardly a loss for Goldberg as he was unable to compete thus not technically being a loss.

I don't see the Goldberg/Terry comparison mostly because Goldberg was being built to defeat Hogan and be the new face of WCW. While Terry is wasting TV time beating Scrubs and holding a belt that could be better used for either Pope or Wolfe to get them over with crowd like the IC Title feud between Rock and Austin. I mean does anyone really see Rob Terry being the face of TNA?
