Taped RAW vs Taped iMPACT

So I think this is the first time that TNA and WWE has been head to head with a taped show.

Do you think there will be a difference in the ratings?
Should TNA have gone live this week to see if they can make a dent in RAW's ratings?


And the $1,000,000 question: Should TNA do a short live broadcast before the start of RAW and give a way the finish to the matches?

I don't think it would make much difference if they did to be honest. If the original Monday Night Wars was Vietnam, this one is the Falklands.

Still, ratings should be interesting. I doubt the Hoff will do much to boost WWE this week.

A taped Raw will still beat Impact honestly it's like comparing the attendance of a New York Yankees game to the attendance of a Staten Island Yankees game.

When he was retarded enough to try that last, the time the wrestling world vividly remembers Schiavone saying "Mick Foley will win the title. Yeah that'll put asses in the seats" and it did. However that Nitro was main evented by Hogan vs Nash a blow off to a huge feud that would determine the fate of the NWO. If Impact tries this they better do something better than Abyss is a red and yellow lantern or AJ Styles as Ric's bitch.

I mean Foley was kind of a jobber even in the WWF at the time and Nash and Hogan were huge. How the hell do you plan on spinning this so Cena, Orton or Batista or whoever is main eventing sound less like stars then Flair2.0 or the Pope? I like AJ and Elijah Burke too, but they would really look second rate trying this. It didn't really help WCW and they had way more to back up their claims of bigger main events.
