Speaking of which, I hope this means the end of the "BUBBA ARMY" signs in the front row every week. Sadly, I'd expect that guy to be front row with "Bring Back Bubba" signs or some crap. Yeah, that guy will be there as long as Hogan is there and they are at the Impact Zone. I just feel better that I know I won't worry about seeing him again.

About damn time. After all the shitstorms he's caused, he should've been (boiling hot-) tarred and feathered in the middle of Universal Studios, let alone fired.

It'd suck if this is part of a storyline.

Has TNA ever announced a release on their website like that? It seems like for the last few years they just quietly remove them from the roster. They announced it when Christopher Daniels was "fired" and Curry Man brought in. So only when it's part of an angle.

It'd suck if this is part of a storyline. I doubt it, that guy made himself a lot of enemies backstage with his attitude and actions especially after the Kong debacle with him running his mouth. After what he's done I wouldn't be surprised if Dixie canned his fat rear personally. And it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

Bubba originally said he was going to take the high road but, since TNA took the first shot he will wage war. He is claiming his firing was because of anti-Bubba Tweets Dixie got and has asked his "army" to respond. He then went on to call the company ran by marks for marks.
AWESOME KONG COMMENTS ON TNA'S DECISION TO DROP BUBBA by Mike Johnson @ 11:23 PM on 4/30/2010
On her twitter account, former TNA star Awesome Kong commented, "Kongfucious says: Karma is a b**ch... named Kong!!!!"

Stupid question, but why do they hate this guy this much?
I mean, yeah he seems like a Hogan suck-up and his comments about Haiti were f***ed up, but why the persistent loathing for the guy?

I read something on a news site about a Kong interview, and how Bubba "blindsided her" on the Cowhead (or whatever) show, and challenged her to a sanctioned fight or something.
If so, and if TNA brass told him to stay away from her, and then he goes and still goes at it, I could see TNA looking and going "Uh oh, maybe he did intstigate some of this stuff" and let him go right away.....have a feeling it goes beyond some "army" guys tweeting.

Good riddance. I had no problem with him up to yesterday, when he continued his unnecessary obsession with Awesome Kong. Though he probably deserved to have his face punched in by Kong for his antiquated shock jockiness, I felt she still behaved worse than him in terms of backstage conduct. Being a natural a-hole, Bubba even had potential for getting serious heel heat, with good payoff whenever he'd get the crap kicked out of him on TV.
"Blindsiding" Awesome Kong on the radio probably made him feel good about himself, being the mark for himself that he is. But anyone could see it was petty and crossed into harassment territory. TNA doesn't need to deal with this kind of BS, and I'm glad that the most detrimental characters of Hogan's pseudo-nepotism (BTLS, Nasties) have been rid of in short time. Back to wanting to be Howard Stern on a radio show I'll never listen to, I suppose.
Maybe they can one day give his pay to Awesome Kong if she should ever return. If there's one thing I hope she's learned from this, it's to take the high road when it comes to conflicts like this. She's had a bad habit of doing this sort of thing, even lashing out on Lacey Von Erich months earlier. She blasted Bubba's noggin in the first time she was insulted by him, and got fired. She said she didn't care about Bubba's obsessive behavior the day after his "blindside", and he got fired. People like Bubba self-destruct well enough on their own without anyones help.

Just this afternoon, I was wondering when he would actually get fired.
Fingers crossed that this is not an angle.

as much as I dislike Blubber, allow me to play devils advocate for a sec. he gave TNA a s***load of free publicity, drew more heat than anyone in the company, and TNA basically treated him like crap
