as much as I dislike Blubber, allow me to play devils advocate for a sec. he gave TNA a s***load of free publicity, drew more heat than anyone in the company, and TNA basically treated him like crap Free publicity: Did them no good. Ratings dropped and house show and live PPV attendance was the same or lower. Drew more heat: Wasn't a wrestler so it didn't matter. TNA treated him like crap: They are a business and he he attacked a former employee, ON THE RADIO, using racial slurs. Not to forget the alleged death threats he left on Kong's voicemail.

Bubba originally said he was going to take the high road but, since TNA took the first shot he will wage war. He is claiming his firing was because of anti-Bubba Tweets Dixie got and has asked his "army" to respond. He then went on to call the company ran by marks for marks. Because if there's one guy who knows all about being a mark, it's Bubba the Love Sponge.

He didn't bring them outside acclaim, and his presence in the company didn't bring increased ratings, so how much did the publicity he gave it on his show matter?

I'd assume the whole business with harassing Kong on the radio weeks after she'd finished with the company was the final straw in this whole mess. He then went on to call the company ran by marks for marks. ...wait, aren't wrestling shows *supposed* to be put on for marks? If anything, TNA's problem (not to mention one of Russo's) has always been a tendency to lean towards smarky insider crap that casual fans will neither get nor really care about. At any rate, good riddance.

Its hilarious that the most obsessively loved (Mickie) and hated (Chubba) people on WC were both fired in the same week.

I am sorry but if I am TNA I am not scared at all of loosing Bubba's "Army" if he had such a big impact on ratings TNA would be doing a lot better in the ratings department. The fact that this wasn't done a lot sooner is a shame. Go back to radio Bubba were you belong.
If you listen to Bubba's show and you watch TNA odds are you watched it before he was on or your opinion on it was already formed without the help of BTLS. Good riddance you have no charm and you drew no eyes to the product.
