I've been a huge fan since Jan. 4th. They've done so many things right and the past few months have been great....I mean I've enjoyed "modern" wrestling for the first time in nearly 10 years.

People always complain about TNA its nice to see somebody enjoy it. It sure is nice to see. It's pretty rare around here though like you said. And it's just a theory of mine, but I do believe all the TNA bashers can pat themselves on the back for the low rating and premature move back to Thursdays. The constant unwarranted negativity with regards to every step TNA took, well it spread like wildfire and even if an episode was great, people would check here and other boards and read that "this sucked" and "that sucked", etc. and it took it's toll. "Fans" didn't want to give TNA a chance on Monday night, and Spike certainly didn't give them enough of a chance either. I'm sorry, but 2 friggin months is no where near enough time to build ratings when you're an upstart company competing against an established company. I fell in love with wrestling again thanks to this "new era" of TNA. I just hope they keep going in the right direction (except they can fire O.J. like they fired Bubba).

It just seems that everybody just follows the crowd if somebody says it sucked even if they enjoyed it they wont give it credit or they wont give it a chance maybe they watch TNA and EXPECT disappointment and pick at little things if you watch a show and expect the worst then there is nothing in your mind stopping you from that. I suppose different people have different tastes, to me I think TNA is way more exciting than WWE and if I lived in the US I would watch Spike TV on Monday Night and record RAW or watch the last hour of it because with WWE i dont get the same excitement to watch it but with TNA im always fired up to watch it especially with an awesome theme song they've got and when it finishes im always dying to watch the next episode but i NEVER read spoilers for shows...it takes away the excitement of the program if you know whats gonna happen. Edit: Although I did just watch the end of this weeks iMPACT! and the ending was piss poor.

I don't blame people for finding any number of things wrong with TNA right now, but I can certainly say that I did enjoy Lockdown for the most part, and that there are aspects of the show I do dig right now.
Some stuff I really don't, but it hasn't killed the show for me so far. I have kind of liked that they don't seem afraid to change something or remove it entirely if fans don't respond to it, though overreacting is a dangerous game to play sometimes.

Last night's show was sloppy as hell, but Jesus Christ was it non-stop action. iMPACT! is the only wrestling show that doesn't put me to sleep, which is why it's the only wrestling show I care about.

There are a few things I don't like about the current product (Tazz as commentator, a pot head for world champion, OJ), but overall I still really enjoy the show. I'm really digging the Douglas Williams character... he seems to be picking up where World Elite left off. Jeff Hardy was actually good this week (I kept wondering why they call him the "charasmatic enigma"). The "New Four Horsemen" has a chance to be an epic stable. Jay Lethal is entertaining as always. Killer Joe is back. Matt Morgan is great as a heel (even though I don't agree with them putting both tag belts on him). I'd say the positives by far outweigh the negatives.

I like TNA and prefer it to the WWE, but I didn't like the ending of the show. I think they're having trouble with their timing when they have live shows, which could also explain why they're going back to thursdays and aren't going live anymore.

I never stopped. I could without Hogan booking himself as the man every week. The ending was really terrible.

I'm still a fan. While this isn't the best era of TNA ever - that award goes to the Scott D'Amore-booked TNA of 2005 and 2006 - it is by no means bad. I remember The Johnsons, Cheex, the cage girls and The Dupps. I remember Dusty in the back of the truck, Hector Garza, Shocker, and the time they decided to have Kid Kash and Sonny Siaki reenact the Roddy Piper/Jimmy Snuka feud. I remember Abyss' brother, the Last Rites match, the electrified cage, and the time that Kurt Angle won all of the title belts for seemingly no reason. Those, in my opinion, are the "low water marks" for TNA. Impact might be hit-and-miss anymore, but it's certainly not reaching to those levels of suck.

I usually like TNA, but I thought the hour I watched before RAW was boring (which is why I switched, It is rare), and from what I read, the rest of the show was terrible.

I love TNA for many reasons, but one of the main ones is that it certainly is not boring. You never know what the heck is going to happen, so you have to watch. And if you blink an eye, you might miss something. WWE, for the last couple years, has been very boring to me. I feel like I've seen everything they're gonna do, and that they have no surprises left. And even when they do (ala Bret Hart) they announce it in advanced. I like to be surprised, which TNA can do.

All of the same complaints and barbs about TNA that are flung around now were flung around then, too. Really, it's been the same litany since the company started. Not that TNA hasn't ever deserved criticism (God knows I've gone through enough stretches of ignoring it while I thought it wasn't any good), but yeah, all of the memes you hear now were around then, too.

Yeah, that is one thing about TNA. No matter how horrid they get the show is at least never dull. Of course, most of 2000 era WCW wasn't dull under Russo either.
And I do need to ask....did D'Amore book that horrible 2006 era stuff with Jarrett winning KOTM with Hebner and Larry Z. aiding in a screwjob? Cause to me that was TNA's absolute lowest point. It literally made everyone in the company (except Jarrett of course) look like a moron and I felt like I lost brain cells every time Impact was on.

I think D'Amore got the book around Slammiversary 2005, and had it for quite awhile. I didn't like that era, either, especially compared to the gold he produced during the "no TV" era in Summer 2005. Ah, Summer 2005. TNA putting on great shows and ROH rolling out the "Summer of Punk" title reign. Good times.
