This will definitely be interesting. I wonder if there's some way they can get the belt off Styles before the PPV. The whole crux of Team Hogan vs Team Flair should include Styles & Abyss as the captain. Didn't Abyss talk about how at the PPV he was going to destroy Styles, but he's not in the same match. If they could get the belt on someone else it would be Pope vs. that person, which would leave Styles available for the Lethal Lockdown. Which makes a lot more sense story-wise right? Who would you have take it off him? Angle and Anderson are probably going to have a match as well, Joe's gone MIA, Jarrett will probably be apart of Team Hogan along with Hardy and RVD and probably Desmond Wolfe as well for Team Flair. Besides they have built Pope vs Styles ever since early Feb when Dinero got a win over him in a non title bout. Be kinda dumb for them to take it off him now and give it to someone else just so he will be apart of Lethal Lockdown. Actually they haven't had Styles vs The Pope built up at all. Its been all Styles vs Abyss. The Pope's main thing has been just having a title shot. I'm not saying it would be easy, but it would make more sense for the Lethal Lockdown to have AJ on a team, since that's who the Abyss is actaully feuding with right now, not Flair. As far as who could AJ drop the belt too? There aren't a lot of options I'll grant you that. I thought Nash had a Feast or Fired case still? Maybe he could cash it in as a transitional champ to the Pope.

Styles crushed Pope's ankle, and the guy thats been running with Styles for a month kept re-injuring it when Pope tried to come back, until Pope finally pinned him last week.
And Nash has the Feast or Fired Tag Title shot. Joe had the HW Title shot, and used it before he was abducted by ninjas.

Besides, Nash vs Pope doesn't exactly SCREAM interest in the eyes of most fans.

Well anyway - most of what TNA is doing right now doesn't SCREAM interest for most fans, but I still think Styles being on Flair's Lethal Lockdown team makes more sense.

Yeah the card based on the first 3 matches alone looks very good. A ton of star power potentially in the Lethal Lockdown match with Sting, RVD, and Hardy (with Hogan and Flair being captains), along with some of the "younger" guys like Wolfe, Beer Money, and Abyss. I also hope Morgan gets in there as well, but I'm guessing they are doing a slow burn with him (really build him up as a prick heel).
Between that, AJ/Pope, and Angle/Anderson, this will probably be the most star studded show in TNA's history, correct me if I'm wrong.

Heres what i think the teams will be.
It will be either this..... Team Hogan(Abyss, Jeff Hardy, RVD, Eric Young, and Samoa Joe VS Team Flair(Sting, Desmond Wolfe, Nash, Hall, and Syxx-Pac)
or this
Team Hogan(Abyss, Hulk Hogan, Jeff Hardy, RVD, Jeff Jarret) VS Team Flair(Sting, Ric Flair, Beer Money, and Desmond Wolfe
If the second one happens(which I'm hoping for since it means Beer Money is joining AJ and Wolfe and Sting in a four horsemen like stable although I think it'd be cool to see Sting with the Wolfpac as well) I think this will be another big match for Lockdown.
Six Man VS Six Man cage Wolfpac(Nash, Hall, and Syxx-Pac) VS Eric Young, Samoa Joe, and Jay Lethal
The six man would be awesome and make perfect sense since Lethal and Joe both have history with Nash being mentored by him.
How do we know Flair and Hogan aren't going to wrestle? I could see it happening since it is a group match so Hogan wouldn't have to do much. Have they said that Hogan and Flair are just coaches or something?

Will Hogan and Flair be in the lethal lockdown match? Nope, they're just putting the teams together. If they continue using a 4-on-4 format for the match, I'll guess that Sting's team will include Wolfe and Morgan, and that Abyss' will include RVD and Hardy, but I can't guess a 4th man for either side yet. Though I DID read some potential spoilers that have some intriguing ideas... AJ vs. Pope is a lock, Angle vs. Anderson is all but a lock. There's probably going to be another X-Division escape match to open the show, and Williams vs. Kazarian will probably happen. I'm sure they'll work in the Guns getting a title shot somewhere, but I don't know how yet (maybe we'll see tonight?). Jarrett will have some sort of angle involving Bischoff, and Eric Young's probably going to start his revenge on the Wolfpac. I liked that idea before of the Wolfpac challenging Young to find two partners, and Eric pulling the Samoa Joe card on Nash and Hall. That would be tough to pull off if we don't learn any time soon where the ninjas took Joe away to, but c'est la vie.

I've heard that the teams for Lockdown will be 4 against 4 so Morgan and Machismo may not be in it like people have rumored.

Well, so far, Abyss has picked Jarrett, so that's three participants out of eight selected.
I think Wolfe is a safe bet for Team Flair.

This is how I see the ending to AJ/Pope. After a back and forth match Pope is about to get out the door and AJ is climbing over the cage. As Pope goes out Flair sprays mace in his eyes. AJ is then able to climb over the top and win the match.
BUT WAIT! Here comes Abyss trying to tell Earl what happen, Flair then says if Abyss wants AJ he can have the match right now. Abyss is unsure and ask a blind Pope and Pope says go ahead, AJ & Abyss go at it, Flair tries the mace, but misses and hits AJ, Abyss hits the Black Hole Slam for the 1.2.3!

Wow... I just saw a commercial for Lockdown on the Glenn Beck show. I think it was the first TNA commercial I've ever seen outside of Spike TV. Maybe TNA really is starting to advertise.

They got Before the Bell up now with it being about the history of Lockdown it looks like. Apparently taped and made before Daniels left.

And he's on in primetime right? That's pretty darn cool, the only time I've seen TNA commercials has been late at night on IIRC NBC.

Actually Beck is on at 5 in the afternoon but he gets huge ratings for that time slot so it should be good for TNA. Is Fox under the viacom banner?

To answer my question, roughly 2,200 tickets were sold. That isn't great but I have to look on the bright side and hope that if only half the place gets filled that there is potential that they may move me closer. ;D
