Just read a report that Slammiversary will be held in Orlando Florida this year - TNA Slammiversary 2010 will take place on 6/13 at Universal Studios in Orlando, FL. With news of Lockdown selling well you think they would have one of their big shows out of state instead of at the freakin' Impact Zone. Is Lockdown going to be the only one this year that's out of state? Seriously TNA if you want people to look at you as an alternative quit having every damn show at the same bloody place. Take a chance and have one of your house show locations be your Impact Tapings for a change or something.

Annoying, everytime a set of PPV's come out I always look to see which ones arnt in the Impact Zone and since they've been all there recently it feels like just waiting through these PPV's til they go somewhere else. Looking forward to Lockdown now obviously.

Bound for Glory will likey be out of the Impact Zone later this year. This. A bit surprised about this news if true, since it's one of the ppv's the usually have outside of the Zone.

Why not have Slammiversary in Nashville? Isn't that where they started, that would make sense.

Bound for Glory what TNA describes as the biggest show of the year. They should do a PPV out of the Impact Zone but in Florida. Are there any small or mid-size stadiums that would be good places?

Makes sense.
TNA gets a lot of financial support from SpikeTV to carry its big names and what not.
SpikeTV won't shell out any money to help them with PPVs and its got to be a million times cheaper to do a PPV out of the iMPACT Zone than it does to take it on the road.
Still makes the company look small-time, but financially it'll always be a safer bet than having it somewhere else.

I always thought Slammiversary should have been a bigger show than Bound For Glory.
That is something that has bugged me about Bound For Glory -- it is considered to be their "Wrestlemania", for no other reason than because they told us so. In other words, BFG always seems to be just like any other PPV that they do -- the only real difference is that Mike Tenay tells us "This is the biggest show of the year".
The reason Wrestlemania is so enormous is because it was THE original PPV (closed circuit television at the time). Wrestlemania has a 25 year history full of celebrities, amazing matches, and iconic feud ending and career defining matches. I don't think BFG is going to be this sort of event for TNA, just because they told us it is. Which leads to why I think Slammiversary is actually a much more important event -- it actually marks the anniversary and a yearly milestone for TNA.

That said though, since Slammiversary PPVs didn't start till after they established the monthly PPVs, you'd think they'd treat Victory Road as a big show, since it's their first ever PPV.

Actually Wrestlemania is huge because Vince has pushed it as being huge. Yes, the first one was a landmark, but there's nothing to say that tomorrow they couldn't turn our and hype, say, the Survivor Series like Wresltemania instead. I have no problem with BFG being "the" show. Shame about this news. Some of those big name contracts are clearly eating into the budget a bit. I always enjoy the PPVs where they tour. Oh well.

I was hoping for Slammiversary at Atlanta, Nashville, or just some place in Tennessee this year. Why not have Slammiversary in Nashville? Isn't that where they started, that would make sense. They already did that, and IIRC, it was a flop. I was there in 2007, and it looked like a fairly big crowd to me.

I think that Slammi hasn't been as successful on the road as Lockdown and BFG have been, so I guess it makes sense.
However, it'd be a good compromise to have it in Orlando, but get an arena to hold the show instead of the Zone.

Lockdown, Slammiversary and Bound For Glory are 3 of the big 4. What is the 4th?
