There have been countless WWF/WWE PPVs in it's history, what are some of your favorite PPV surprises???
Ill start it off.....
1. The Undertaker returns at Judgment Day 2000 (Debut's the American Bad Ass Gimmick)
A great surprise given the fact the Internet had little to do with this for me, still to this day my best PPV surprise!!

Ultimate Warrior's return in 1992 thrilled this 7 year old mark.
Also, CM Punk cashing in on Jeff Hardy last year was awesome. I remember getting up from my seat at Hooters ready to leave, when I heard Punk's music hit. I became that 7 year old mark.
And...ok I know this is WCW, but Hogan turning at Bash At The Beach 1996 was awesome.

John Cena returning at the Rumble a couple of years ago. It was a great surprise, even if you don't like the guy.
Edge finally cashing in MITB and winning the title
Haku at the Rumble in 2001.
Miss Kitty flashing her tits at Armageddon.
Warrior returning at Wrestlemania 8.
Hogan winning the title at Wrestlemania 9.

Edge cashing in his Money in the Bank at New Years Revolution against Cena after the Elimination Chamber. Also Vince double crossing The Rock and joing with HHH which caused people to throw garbage in the ring the last time I remember seeing fans do that.

One of my favorite PPV surprises ever was when they had that bonus tag team match at Armageddon (06 I think). Londrick vs. The Hardys vs. Regal/Dave Taylor vs. MNM in a ladder match. That was possibly the best bonus match in the history of wrestling.
Also on the subject of bonus matches, there was something during the same time period where they had a surprise Benoit return on PPV against Regal, and the two put on an awesome match.
I love it when they throw in a really high quality bonus match. It just makes you feel better about ordering the PPV.
Also I should add Tazz's debut at Royal Rumble 2000 against Angle to this. It wasn't much of a surprise since most of the internet had figured it out pretty quickly, but it was still a great moment, and Tazz's biggest moment to date IMO.

This thread begins and ends with Cena returning at 2008 rumble. I was there and the crowd was absolutely electric for it. They got us good with that one. 8 months on the shelf? More like 3. Perfectly done.

Undertaker's return at Judgement Day 2000 was the s***. I remember being really into the Rock-HHH Iron Man match and I heard that video come on with the little girls playing hop-scotch or something. My Dad said, "What the hell is this?" When I heard the words, "now back from the dead," I thought it was Taker. When I saw him ride down on a motorcycle, get in the ring, and beat up everyone, my 10 year old self went crazy. Also I have WCW one from 1997. At Uncensored that year, the NWO won another PPV main event once again by cheating. Really boring ending, until Sting came down from the ceiling and beat up Hall, Nash, and Savage. When Hogan and Sting finally had their face-off, my 7 year old self was marking out like crazy. Good times, I miss 1996-2000 in wrestling.

Also, Edge cashing in MITB on Cena.

-Edge disguised as a cameraman during Batista/Taker At Survivor Series (07?)
-Mysterio wins the WHC at WM22

For me, it's a gotta be from this year's Elimination Chamber event because i was there live. I really wanted Sheamus to retain, and was sad when Triple H pinned him, leaving only Cena and HHH to fight for the title. I'm not a fan of either guys as champion (same old, same old), so I was quite ecstatic when Batista came out after the match, made short work of Cena, and became WWE Champion. I know he did it in the same style Edge did, but I've never marked so hard for Batista in my life.

-Sudden Death Time Limit for the Iron Man Match at WM 12 -The double pin between Shawn and British Bulldog at the IYH (either International Incident or Beware of Dog) -Eddie winning it at No Way Out 2004 -Austin heel turn at WM X-7 -Goldberg beat Hogan on Nitro -The Toronto Crowd shatting on the Rock at WM X-8 -The Rock beating Austin at Wrestlemania XIX -The Goldberg Announcement at Wrestlemania XIX -Triple H retaining at WM 2000 -Jeff Hardys ladder spot at WM 2000 -Raven debuts at Unforgiven 2000 -etc I could go on, I love being a mark.
The opposite of this would be Duane Gill at Survivor Series 98, I don't know what the rumor was, hearing the crowd chant HBK, I was expecting a WCW star, but I certainly did not expect that guy to walk out.

Hogan vs Rock=The whole match was just one big markout moment Goldberg beating Hogan. The moment Booker T debut in the WWF. I was still a huge WCW fan and I was a big Booker T fan at the time. So I was super excited to see him.

Edge cashing in. That was out of nowhere. I never though a guy would do it after a match like that.
Stone Cold at One Night Stand. The ECW fans marked out for Stone Cold. Huge moment.
