Is it just me, or does the Whole F'n Show logo look an awful lot like the Bloodsport: ECW's Most Violent Matches cover ?

Weren't there other pics of the Whole F'N Show logo that could've been used WITHOUT a special referee blocking it?

Cos nobody had used a blood splatter pattern as a logo before that DVD.

And as for them not being the only people to use a blood splatter logo, it's that the similarity of the design (white background, similar shape, white writing in the middle, the fact that one is centered on ECW and one is centered on RVD, etc.) between the two is uncanny.

Let's see. Different design of the blood pattern (ECW has a cross, TNA is a plain splatter), different background (Grey for TNA, white for ECW), different font used in letters, company logo is inside the design instead of outside, TNA design is less clean with more blood droplets around it. No, it's not the same.

No, it's not the same. The grey and the white aren't that different. But you missed the color of the blood itself, it's redder on the dvd cover. But yeah it's just a blood spatter. WWE/ECW didn't invent that.

Its just a typical blood splatter brush, more than likely used because the main event will be a blood bath.
Reading too much into it, imo.

Do we need Dexter Morgan to investigate whether this is a copyright issue?
This one is a real stretch IMO.

Nope. Somebody in production found some bloodspatter brushes for Photoshop and decided they were hella cool.

I love how everyone is flipping out as though I'm accusing TNA of copyright infringement. I never once implied that it was done intentionally. I saw the logo for Whole F'n Show, thought it looked familiar, and when I figured out where it was from posted comparision pics. I thought it was interesting how similar it was especially now with TNA doing ECW nostalgia stuff. I thought it was an interesting, odd, similarity.
Instead I basically get attacked for accusing TNA of ripping off WWE, when I never did such a thing.
Sort of like how the logo of the band Pantera looks like the logo for the movie Panther. It's just a strange coincidence. But apparently I'm "wrong" anyway, because they look nothing alike, and apparently people use bloodstain logos that look similar to that all the time.

I can't believe TNA is using written text in their logos just like the AWA used to do. Par for the course, TNA is ripping off defunct companies once again. If they keep this up, they're going to be out of business by the end of yesterday.
