This could also be another Daniel Bryan situation, where perhaps a sponsor either saw her that drunk or heard about it, and then when it all blows over she will be rehired. I'm sure she won't be burning that WWE bridge just yet. Well, it's not like they brought back Rhyno (other then One Night Stand) And I'm guessing that Bryan is/will be a much bigger draw for the company than Serena.

Maria Kanellis went on a rant on Twitter about the release, accusing WWE of sexism, but pulled it when someone said to her that WWE.com haven't confirmed it. My Goddess is toeling the line of burning a valuable bridge. I must punish her.

That really does suck and it's crazy how they're doing the angle but she won the match and stayed in the group and turns around and gets released I wonder how they're gonna explain this on next weeks smackdown.....that's if they do

I say this as a fan of Serena.
We don't know what happened. We've seen the pictures of before she was in the WWE with her and a lot of beer bottles, and there's the report she got shit-faced and Primo had to help her. There's the very good possibility that the WWE offered rehab, she refused, and that led to her release.

Her boobies were something that made her hot as hell. I'm guessing that she must of did something real bad.

Damn CM Punk and his politicola powers.
I want it to be revealed that Punk was the one that complained to management about her drinking, in effect getting her fired, just to see the complete 180 of most people on this board.

So what if Serena was talented & had potential? That isn't the issue. She got s***faced in public while sponsoring the company and they canned her for it. Seems fair to me. You can have all the talent in the world, but when you do stuff that is against company policy you are going to get punished. For the most part, in the IWC, it's not about if you're a f***-up or a horrible person, as long as they believe you're a good worker. ESPECIALLY if you're paired up or otherwise associated with an IWC Favorite like Punk, DBD, etc. You could be a saint, but if you don't meet the IWC's standards, GTFO. If you're thought to be a high-level wrestler, you could molest and kill their mother and/or wife and they'd still love you.

So a diva gets released and chaos ensues lol This has nothing on the debate over the concept of morality and fidelity that came with Mickie James getting canned.

I think a lot of people here are way to quick to jump the gun. If its true that Serena got embarrassingly drunk in front of her employers, then its the WWE's right to fire her.
Of course, it makes things a hundred times worse when you realize that Serena is part of a stable who's very message is no drugs, alcohol, etc. To me, it seems like more like the result of a gross disregard for taking your job seriously. I mean, you're in a business where image is everything. And your in ring gimmick is to be vehemently against drugs and alcohol as part of a straight edge cult. To me, it seems like she had every right to be fired. It sucks that she did, but the fact remains.
Basically, if my employer were to give me instructions, I'd follow them. Working in the WWE is a much different environment, where fan interaction is incorporated into your performance and ultimately works (or hinders) your character. I know it looks extremely sucky, but it seems silly that you would go to great sacrifices to live your dream, and ignore the one thing that's essential to living out a gimmick.

Still not any mention on WWE.com about this and her profile's still up on the Divas section. I'm calling BS until it actually says so on WWE's site. Especially if it's a Wellness-related release. They announce those pretty quickly and it's not like there'd be a reason to keep Serena's release all hush-hush.

They wont confuse kids who visit the webiste, or casual fans, by announcing while she still has an appearence coming up. If this hasnt been announced by the weekend, sure.

It's not wellness, it's behavioral and with her on Smackdown, it more than likely wont be until its aired.

If your bosses tell you NOT to do something and you do it anyway, then you're just an idiot, I'm sorry. Total truth.

The Torch, the Observer, sometimes they put up stuff before it hits the press, so to speak, but I'm going to take anything short of the official site with a grain of salt until the proof is out there.
