It's sad. I watched Smackdown, and saw Serena wrestle. I thought to myself, this girl just had a good match with Kelly Kelly, she's gotta be like, the female Shawn Michaels, having a good match with such a slug. It's not on the site yet, so I guess there's hope. It's just sad to see her let go. Especially since she gave so much to the company. I mean, she shaved her head for them, I'm sure they could give her a few more chances.

so here are the possible scenarios:
-it's not true, just newz and she still has a job: GOOD
-it is true, she regularly got blind drunk in front of important people, making the company look bad: GOOD (well, it's never good when someone gets fired, but maybe justified at least)
-it is true, she was seen drinking, thus "breaking kayfabe": BOLLOCKS. if you're old enough to be in a bar in the first place, you're old enough to know wrestling's fake.
strictly IMO. any other possibilities emerging?

This has nothing to do with kayfabe.
IT'S A JOKE REFERENCING HER FORMER GIMMICK.
If Serena had an 'evil dentist' gimmick and had a repeated pattern of getting blind drunk in public she would still be fired.

I'll base my opinion on what's being reported so far. I don't think "don't be shitfaced when representing the company" is an unreasonable demand or at least it shouldn't be. If going out to drink is more important to Serena than having a job with the wwe, then she seriously needs help. Even if it was an order as part of the ses gimmick (and I have serious doubts about that), then I would imagine Serena was informed of the no public drinking rules going in and even if she wasn't she was warned the first time. If she was willing to shave her head to get called up but mixing in a club soda at a bar was too much to ask, that still doesn't change the fact that she has issues and the wwe was within their right to let her go. Again, I don't know all the facts but that's what I think based on what I've heard so far.

Shave your head for the sake of the company Lose Job. Get flat out drunk enough, and make the company look like fools in public, and more then enough warnings that she didn't care to take notice of. Good Riddence.

I honesty had no idea that WWE's future depended her getting her head shaved. Thank you, Serena for saving WWE from certain death.

For the most part, in the IWC, it's not about if you're a f***-up or a horrible person, as long as they believe you're a good worker. ESPECIALLY if you're paired up or otherwise associated with an IWC Favorite like Punk, DBD, etc. You could be a saint, but if you don't meet the IWC's standards, GTFO. If you're thought to be a high-level wrestler, you could molest and kill their mother and/or wife and they'd still love you. Ya I don't see to much love for Beniot. Read before you post shots at everyone. I thought you knew. When it comes to complaining about those guys that type at night, you don't have to use logic, be thoughtfull, or do anything you demand they do. Just be "pithy" and say IWC every three words.

In the end of the day if I went somewhere and I was still technically on company time for example I was going with my boss to talk to some people that we need to keep sweet for a couple of days, and I went to a bar on one of the evenings I was there and got so drunk I couldn't stand up with some of those said people in the same bar I wouldn't have a job to come back to when I got home.

Eh, if the reasons that are coming to light for the release turn out to be true; I've got no real issue with it.
Sounds justified, maybe harsh, but justified.
Also, can we stop acting like shaving her head was some sorta huge martyrdom move? I mean yeah, it kinda goes above and beyond your typical getting hired thing.. but that was the character she was hired to portray and she portrayed it. It's not like it doesn't grow back.

Well this sucks. I mean, the woman got cosmetic surgery and shave her head for that company, and they didn't have her wrestle but twice. Granted, she was in SES, but she wasn't prominently featured until lately.

I don't care if she got a sex change for the job. She repeatedly got drunk in public and embarrassed the company. They told her to stop and she didn't. That's grounds for firing for anyone.

It's 14 pages worth in the thread, where was she drunk? Did she do it often? Was it at WWE events or on her own? Was it at signings or whatever, or was she on her own?

She shaved her head to get the role... she was willing to do it. She knew that divas needed boobs, not what she had. She knew that divas need to not have super hideous faces.
Come on people. Far more people have been fired for far less who needed their job much more.
Even though she was only around half a year, she probably made more money in that time than she ever did prior... and got more exposure which means she'll make more money on the indies for a few years. She may not make huge money, but she'll be able to earn a living.
Not everyone gets to live their dream. Sad, but true.

As said before, she ignored what the company asked her to do and sadly she has to deal with the consequences of her actions.I am a fan of Serena but if who you are working for asks you to do something you do it.I have a feeling she may well have been fed up with the company and was looking to get out.I wouldnt be to surprised since she never had a chance to compete or do much.
