Why not make SHANE MCMAHON the leader of the Nexus?
He has left "WWE" but he can always come back. Also it makes sense as they are a new generation just like Shane is a new generation and he can be jellous of Cena for being treated like Vince's son.
Steph can also come back and align with Shane because she admits her Father has been treating Cena like he is one of their kids.
This leads to Cena/Vince vs Shane/Steph/Nexus match.
But Stephanie turns on Shane in the match but Nexus still wins and they beat the crap out of Vince, Cena and Steph. Shane announces that he is no longer a McMahon...he is now a NEXUS and puts on a Nexus shirt and says its time for a new generation to take over.
They beat up Vince and Steph so bad that they have to "step down" from their positions in the company and Shane and Nexus takes full control and fire John Cena.
Nexus and Shane then become GMs of both shows, firing Teddy Long and Raw's "Mystery GM" and anyone else who comes in their path. They put their own people in power where they want and eventually pick up most of the gold in the company.
Eventually Cena, McMahon and Steph come back to fight the Nexus along with other guys Nexus threw out. They can even bring Bryan Daniel with them as Vince realizes his "mistake" for firing him and takes him back to help take back the WWE.
This is imo, exactly the kind of wide company, across all two brands storyline that the WWE needs to bring excitement back to their shows.

But then why did Vince take credit for the Nexus' assaults?

But then why did Vince take credit for the Nexus' assaults? Vince has a big ego? Lol.

But then why did Vince take credit for the Nexus' assaults? Because his boy is leading the next generation and taking it over from his dad? Damn that actually makes sense. Too bad the InVasion happened

Because what the company really needs to bring excitement back to their shows is a McMahon family feud; we've never had that happen before, right?

No, because I have been assuming Linda is the leader the whole time.
We will find this when she takes the Senate and steps down allowing for Senator Daniel Bryan to take over.

This is exactly the kind of company wide angle that...would make me stop watching completely.
Imagine both shows headlined by guys like Heath Slater and David Otunga...ugh.

I love any storyline that involves the McMahons...I'm in...and I would be shocked with this outcome. Too bad the odds are very low of this happening.

Not gonna happen. Shane doesn't want to work on Daddy's farm no more. So we've all heard, but think about it: he's been lying low since Jan 1. He didn't like the way management (Vince and Steph) was treating the talent (Creative). Sound familiar? He's been gone six months, and not only have we not heard about what he is doing, we haven't heard anything about anything when it comes to him.
