People, to continue in the point I was making earlier, I love Mick, but he was NEVER on the level of 'big star' that Austin or Rock were on. No, but he was right behind. It pains me to see people forgetting how big of a star Foley was. He was doing Chef Boyardee commercials for Chissakes!

Lets face it HHH simply put is The Game...he came along in a time when WWE had a lot of people leave right before the mass WCW exodus...the stars that DID stay were good stars but with the exception of a few names everybody had an open field in WWE....the edge HHH had simply put was Steph...I'm not taking anything away from HHH's talent because he really does do a great job in ring, but wrestling always has been about who can pull in as much backstage power as possible.
Now again don't get me wrong I think they truely do care for each other Steph and HHH.
Honestly though while Triple H has the talent and ability he just played the game at the right place and right time.

What does he call pinning Austin twice and then making him his sidekick in 2001?

Rock, Austin and Hogan for example transcend the industry.

What does he call pinning Austin twice and then making him his sidekick in 2001? Austin wasn't his "sidekick". They were partners. If anything, HHH was more of the sidekick considering he was IC champion while Austin was WWF Champion and portrayed as more of the leader of the Power Trip.

I adore Foley and I know he was huge, but he was wrestler huge. Rock, Austin and Hogan for example transcend the industry. Seeing as Rock, Austin and Hogan are the ONLY wrestlers to ever achieve that level, I agree Foley wasn't THAT level of huge, but he was always a much bigger star than Hunter was. Also, Foley put HHH over in 1997 before either of them were World Champ. Their feud from King of the Ring to the return of Cactus Jack established Hunter as a guy who was more than cartoony priss and could actually be a threat. Foley was much bigger than Hunter at that time as well.

What big star ever laid down for you, Triple H? Gee, let me think... And he did it far more than once.

You guys are missing the most obvious one...HBK himself. He literally laid on the mat while Triple H ran the ropes about a 100 times and then pinned him to become the European Champion.
Seriously though, just being associated with Shawn Michaels made Triple H somewhat relevant. He wasn't exactly lighting the world on fire in his matches with Henry O. Godwinn.
