i will defend KISS to the death...but honestly...just...*sigh* Gene...Gene....i swear Gene wrote it in like 2 min, and said "im gonna play a riff and just go with it..."
im a Danzig mark...but i just could never get into wicket pussycat (theres something the youtube code that is apparently a dirty word) or anything off of 777 save for "angel blake"
i love Oasis and the Gallagher Brothers to death as well...but i really couldnt get into this song at all...outside of this the rest of "standing on the shoulder of giants" is a really really good album.

CKY - either Sarah's Mask or My Promiscuous Daughter
And I like those songs. I'm pretty sure CKY is the only band (with more than one album) with the honor that I like ALL of their songs. Those two just happen to be the ones I like the least.

I wouldn't call The Clash a favorite band, but I've liked pretty much every song of theirs I've heard...except "Should I Stay or Should I Go." It just sounds so...obnoxious.

The Beatles - When I Get Home. Really due to the line, "I'm gonna love her 'til the cows come home." Really John? (I think John later said this was one of his least favorites)
KISS - Let's Put The X In Sex
The Clash - Rock The Casbah (way overplayed)
Bruce Springsteen - Outlaw Pete Song's OK I guess, but he seemed to have nicked some of KISS' "I Was Made For Lovin' You" for it, and that's what throws me off.
Rolling Stones - Emotional Rescue
The Who - Endless Wire The entire album, in my view, is possibly the worst album ever released by a major act.

Iron Maiden - "The Angel and the Gambler". I quite like a lot of Blaze era Maiden songs, but not this one.
Metallica - "Some Kind of Monster". Again, I quite like most of St Anger, but not this one.
Dream Theater - Uh... ? I suppose "The Answer Lies Within" would be my least favourite, but I still like it. A rare band where I like all of their songs.

Pearl Jam - "Glorified G". If you're trying to do a "message" song about guns and gun violence, having a dorky guitar riff that sounds more appropriate to a Weird Al song ... not the way to go.
Guns n' Roses - "Think About You". Dude, grow a sack. This makes "November Rain" look manly.
Metallica - "Don't Tread On Me". After an entire album of social commentary and indictments of the hypocrisies of American society, they do a total 180 and record this flag-waving, tail-between-their-legs apology song. Spineless, pathetic, cloying, pandering, HORRIBLE.
The Smashing Pumpkins - just about anything off Zeitgeist.
Jed Shaffer ~And I love Nirvana's "Big Long Now" and Oasis' "Put Yer Money Where Yer Mouth Is". Taste is quite subjective, it seems.

On a similar vein, "Free and Freaky" by The Stooges. (actually, most of The Weirdness counts, but especially this song) I swear that song came about when Iggy Pop heard "Rockin' in the USA" and thought "Right, how can I write my own version of this and make it even worse than the original?" And what the hell, someone dislikes "Dirty Livin'"? That's always been one of my favorite songs off Dynasty.

Maybe it's because I'm not big on Peter songs anyway, but that song is WAAAAAY to Disco sounding for my tastes. I know the whole album has a sort of rock disco vibe, but that one is just straight up disco, I don't like it at all. Still a great album though.

Dirty Livin' does have more of a disco sound than most of the songs on the album, but that never bothered me in the slightest because it still manages to rock pretty hard (and I don't really have anything against disco anyway... there goes my rocker cred if I even had any in the first place). I absolutely love the bassline and Ace's guitar work on the track.

I absolutely love the bassline and Ace's guitar work on the track. I think that's one reason I don't really consider I Was Made For Lovin' You a disco song, that bassline, especially when done live, is just f***ing amazing. As you said the Dirty Livin' bassline is pretty sweet, Gene really created some good ones with that record, plus the bass intro to Sure Know Something is instantly recognizable.
