Ugh, Marvel announced today that once Shadowland ends, Daredevil's book will be retitled "Black Panther: The Man Without Fear" with BP leaving Wakanda to protect Hell's Kitchen Please tell me that's a really bad joke

All of Wakanda will now be moved to a Phonebooth in Hell's Kitchen.

Why not just let Luke Cage, or even better, Iron Fist take over? Ya know, Iron Fist? The guy that's subbed for Daredevil in the past? The guy that actually fits that role, and doesn't have to come in from Wakanda to do it?

Because Marvel REALLY wants to push him despite not many people caring about him. Black Panther is the Drew McIntyre of Marvel

Another fine example of Marvel taking a shit all over Daredevil.

Which BP are we talking here?
If it's T'Challa, that could be interesting even if it doesn't make much sense.
If it's his sister, Shuri, I couldn't care less. She is one of the worst things in a long time.

I have answered my own question. Here is an article with details:
The answer to who will be the new Man Without Fear was answered this afternoon on G4¡äs Attack of the Show: ¡°Fresh Ink¡± host Blair Butler announced that Marvel¡¯s Daredevil will end in November with Issue 512 ¡ª of course, we already knew that ¡ª to be replaced with Black Panther: The Man Without Fear.
The title, which picks up in December with Issue 513, spins out of the ¡°Shadowland¡± event, and finds Black Panther as the new guardian of Hell¡¯s Kitchen, ¡°living outside of his kingdom and rebuilding his life¡± without the aid of advanced Wakandan technology.
Black Panther is written by award-winning novelist David Liss, who penned last year¡¯s Daring Mystery Comics 70th Anniversary Special for Marvel, and penciled by Francesco Francavilla (Zorro), who drew those ¡°Man Without Fear¡± teasers.
Daredevil returned to its original numbering a year ago with Issue 500. The continuation of that numbering under the new name, a la Incredible Hercules, suggests we¡¯ll see a return to plain ol¡¯ Daredevil before too long. Meanwhile, the four-issue Daredevil: Reborn, by Andy Diggle and Davide Gianfelice, will launch in January.
That sounds interesting to me. Doesn't make a lick of sense, but is interesting. T'Challa minus tech and Wakanda could help to redeem him after he was made someones soap box and made to sound like a selfish fool. I support this.

That sounds like it would be cool... if it wasn't for the whole "replacing Daredevil" thing.

Well Devil's dead so someone needs to replace him. Also people still watch things on G4?

He clearly wont be staying dead, or possessed, or broken or whatever happens to him at the end of Shadowland, as they have already announced a 'Reborn' series for him.
As the article says, they aren't renumbering, so it makes it clear he's coming back eventually.
I expect the same thing with Fantastic Three.

Well Devil's dead so someone needs to replace him. Also people still watch things on G4? Iron Fist would be perfect for that, though, as a temporary gig. But giving it to Black Panther just seems so random and odd. Have those two characters ever even had any serious interaction?

Iron Fist is already in New Avengers, T'Challa is no where and needs some fixing.
That alone makes this a better decision than giving it to IF imo.

They could easily give him some fixing WITHOUT doing this, though. He's had his own comic before; just give it to him again. Or even a mini-series specifically for fixing what that idiot who had him for a while did wrong. Putting him in Daredevil's role, though, just doesn't make any sense in any way.

He doesnt have his own book, his sister had her own book. That horrid Shuri creation had the book, and has the new mini series. T'Challa gets this for a few months.
We have no idea how much sense it will make, because we don't know the set up. T'Challa could show up in the next Shadowland for all we know at the moment.

Like I said, though, they could easily give him one if they're so interested in fixing the character. Or, better yet, put an end to the female Black Panther stuff and put him back in the starring role of those comics.
And they might try to put Black Panther in Shadowland to try to shoe-horn the character in as Daredevil's replacement, but I'm sure Iron Fist will remain the guy that everyone feels should have gotten the nod instead.
I will admit that I think it's funny that BP seems to be developing into the replacement of choice for Marvel's heroes, though. First he was a replacement for the Fantastic Four, and now he's the replacement for Daredevil? What's next?

Thor regains the Odinforce and moves on from Earthly affairs "once and for all", abandoning Mjolnir for a worthy replacement to claim it. Black Panther becomes the new Thor.

IF is busy in New Avengers, as I said, better another character get some spot light than yet another character do double, triple or quadrupal duty.
Plus, IF may be about to die. New Avengers 6 has a 'one of these characters will die' tag line and although my money is on Doctor VooDoo, IF has a chance, especially with his relationship with Misty Knight being deleted and their baby retconned as a false pregnancy caused by the powers of the IF.

Being in the Avengers has never been a deterrent from having something on the side, though, as evidenced by about half the team having their own titles. So, whether you like it from a stand-point of who gets spot-light or not, that'd still make him the most logical choice for the Daredevil position.
If Iron Fist dies though, okay... that might be a step in a more logical direction for how Black Panther gets the role. But it's still something coming out of the far left field that is going to feel incredibly forced.
