3 years ago I changed my primary email address. For sake of argument, say I went from EMAIL@YAHOO.COM to NEWEMAIL@YAHOO.COM.
This was three years ago.
Right now, literally 5 mins ago, I received an email on my Blackberry. The email was from my old email address, EMAIL@YAHOO.COM, it was titled "Addresses ..." and it was a cut and paste of my old email address book. I still use that account occasionally for random things (coupons, special offers, etc) but I never send stuff out using it.
At first I thought my account was hacked, but then I looked closer, and here's the weird thing. The date on the email I just received from my old email address says that it was sent "Jan 7 2007", and the more I think of it, I think I actually did send that to myself 3 years ago when I switched email addys as a way to move some contacts over.
I was worried my account got hacked, so I changed my password on both to be safe, but is that really a concern? Is this really just the longest email delay ever?
I'm confused. Help me.

This IS Yahoo Mail we're talking about. Good lord, they were even worse than Hotmail back when.

I regularly get spam emails on my Yahoo account from years like 2022 and 2037. Does that happen to anyone else?

I regularly get spam emails on my Yahoo account from years like 2022 and 2037. Does that happen to anyone else? So that means the apocalypse will come and Nigerian Prime Ministers will still be offering you money if you send them your account numbers? That's as bleak of a future as The Road.
