I made a thread for John Williams and will make one for a third composer, then I'm done, I swear.

Anyway, what would you say is Goldsmith's greatest achievement in music.?I do miss his credit showing up before a movie.

He did Supergirl.
His revamping of the Star Trek theme.
The awesome theme for First Contact.
Rambo theme.
Gremlins.
It goes on and on.

The scene that this plays over consists of little more than a pointless 6 minute reveal shot of the Enterprise, and yet the music alone is almost enough to make it bearable. If there has ever been a more underrated score in the history of cinema than Star Trek TMP's, I haven't heard it.
