"In less than an hour, you're going to get it on with your best buddy" You want to rephrase that, JR? ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

Anyone else think this would be a great way to introduce a new member of DX?

One thing I noticed was the size of the arena. Yep, that DX was a hell of a popular faction.

One thing I noticed was the size of the arena. Yep, that DX was a hell of a popular faction. That's the Manhattan Center. First RAW was from there, and I believe, prior to Christmas for the Troops, was the WWE's annual Christmas episode venue. Yes, its small, but the WWE wasn't playing to arena's that small ALL the time.

I love the Manhattan Center, myself. In my young days of markdom I thought that arena was the coolest place on Earth and that you practically had to sell your soul to get to Raw - ah, youth.

Well lets see, one was for the world heavyweight championship which had credibility the other was for the european which was well... You get my point. I agree at face value, but it did get the belt off of Michaels (which allowed him to concentrate on his WWF title run), and it led to my all-time favorite promo the next week, when Cornette SHREDDED that Raw. The one thing people should remember is Michaels should have never had the title to begin with...he was an absolute prick in demanding going over the Bulldog in the first place.

First RAW was from there, and I believe, prior to Christmas for the Troops, was the WWE's annual Christmas episode venue. Yes, its small, but the WWE wasn't playing to arena's that small ALL the time. That wasn't the Manhatten Centre, that was the Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, MA. And yes they pretty much were playing to small arenas all the time during that time period, at least more often than not. Raw was being constantly held in small arenas with maximum capacities of around 3,000 and most of the time they had to heavily tape over most of the seats because they couldn't sell them out. An average Raw attendance for that year falls at around the 4,000 mark.
