Now that Avenged Sevenfold decided to continue on without Mike Portnoy, Mike contacted Dream Theater about getting back together.
And DT said no.
I'm conflicted... I respect Mike's ability and he was one of the founders of DT, but he is the one who left and it feels (to me) like the only reason he's going back is because he was rejected by the A7X. Plus, I'm interested in who the replacement drummer is and what the post-Portnoy DT sounds like.
What does the board think?
