Is Michael Bay doing anything this year? If so, then I'll go with that.

Uwe Boll is doing the Max Schmeling movie!? That's pretty damn tragic. Schmeling was an amazing man and deserves to have his story told my a much better film maker. Maybe he'll surprise us. Heh.

I don't think it'll be in the Worst Of The Year category but Killers looks super dumb. Really, was Mr. and Mrs. Smith so great that we need two or three different "hitmen in relationships" movies every year!

The bad part about it is...we're supposed to buy these couples as having this amazing chemistry...but I do NOT for one second believe that Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz work as a couple....nor do I think that Katherine Heigl and Asthon Kutcher have ANY sort of chemistry. Though to be fair, from reports on Heigel's attitude, I can totally believe that someone would want to kick her ass, so there is that.

For some reason I want the Asylum to make a Robin Hood movie using this as the screenplay:

Doesn't look like it'll be the worst movie of the year, but annoying nonetheless.

Macgruber had the 9th worst (Technically 8th) of a movie opening on 2,500 screens.
Didn't think it was going to do that bad

Hot Tub Time Machine could be on the list I though it was going to suck too, until I saw it. It was one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time in theaters, even liked it more than The Hangover

Does Uwe Boll have anything lined up? Perhaps an adaptation of Bubble Bobble? I would love that

Marmaduke comes out tomorrow. Who thought this was a good idea? The Great Old Ones. But upon completion, they realized it was too terrible even for them. Unfortunately, it was too late.

Marmaduke comes out tomorrow. Who thought this was a good idea? Is it based off of the comic/cartoon show? Yeah, but then it got put through the "manatee" plot process once someone realized that a god damn newpsaper strip that isn't known for having more than three or four lines per installment might NOT be the deepest source to adapt to a main stream movie. Thus we get loads of toilet and bodily fluid humor (saliva, urine, and I think there's a scat joke in there as well). FAMILY FRIENDLY! *SIGH*

I haven't been paying a lot of attention since I haven't had the money to go the the theater. I know what will be nominated for Razzies though. Anything with Ben Affleck, Madonna, or the other handful of actors whom the people that made up that award have irrational hatred for. Those awards have become parodies of themselves. Instead of focusing on what were the worst main stream movies of a given year, they use the award to extract revenge on a small number of actors for no real reason. Ben is kind of hit or miss with me but many of the things he has been nominated for weren't nearly as bad as other things from that same year. They have also passed on nominating some bad movies, instead deciding their grudges were more important. As for people who complain about Twilight, I have never seen those movies. But they weren't made for my demographic. I'm a 30 year old male. Those movies are for teenage girls, although some older women seem to like them. Obivously I'm not going to like the movie because it wasn't made with me in mind. It would be like me complaining about Bob the Builder because I thought it was too childish. What would I be expecting?

What would I be expecting? I'm a 29 year old man, and I've seen both Twilight movies. My girlfriend likes the series so I've taken her to both of them. And you know what? I hate the films, I hate the source material, but I CAN see why the people that love them do so. They're pure catnip for that crowd, and they give the demographic what it wants. Plus, that series acts as an excellent stepping stone for people to discover TRUE BLOOD, so it's all good. ;D
