Just got out of an advance screening of the new Seth Rogen Green Hornet movie. It was really entertaining and worth seeing when it opens next month.

I'm not feeling it, based on the ads and stuff, seeing as it's just Seth Rogen being Seth Rogen, but as a superhero. However, I'm not against seeing it if it happens.

The film looks like a piece of crap based on the ads. I may give it a chance when it's actually released but I won't rush out to see it. Kato looks great but Seth...meh.

Nice to see a positive review, cuz I agree on the trailers REALLY making it look like this thing will tank. I might check it out, but I'll probably wait for dvd.

I'm not really feeling it. I can't say I'm overly familiar with the Green Hornet character, but is it really supposed to be so comedic and played for laughs? I love Seth Rogan, but he just doesn't seem like the right fit for the character based on my limited knowledge

i think the casting is a bit odd, but if they're trying to add some sort of comic effect sporadically, i think rogen makes an intriguing choice. (or at least that's what i gather from the Hardees ads.)

I think the fact that there is a Green Hornet and Green Lantern movie coming out in the same year is going to confuse non-comic fan movie goers.

Not a fan of Seth Rogen at all. And the one add I saw, I could barely understand the Asian guy...
...so I'll pass.

I saw the trailer and it looked like a crappy Seth Rogen vehicle and since I don't like Seth Rogen I'll pass.

Every Seth Rogen movie I've seen, I saw the trailer beforehand and said "meh" but I ended up digging the movie. So, if I can get together some fellas, I might end up seeing this in the theater. Otherwise, I'll wait 'til DVD.

I do kinda think it is a mistake to be focusing the trailers and ads on Seth Rogen. Not that he's a bad guy, he's usually great in his films, it is just, Kato is the best part of the film. Just like the TV show, Kato is the SOLE REASON to see it, yet he's not getting the majority of the advertising.

This movie is gonna bomb hard. Seth Rogen's 15 minutes seem to be up, the advertisements don't make it seem good and how relevant is the source material still?

There's a reason they are releasing it in January, so it bombing doesn't sting that much. Especially if Tron: Legacy has any kind of legs it should rip through everything January has to offer.

Did they all debut at about the same time or something? Was it cheaper to use green ink? lol, wtf??? Green Arrow/Hornet/Lantern... I wouldn't doubt there are a couple more! Is there?

It looks better than that "other" Green movie.
They both suffer from actors just being themselves. Reynolds is just Van Wilder with a ring looks like.
I'd watch it just for Kato.
