Obviously, there will be spoilers in this thread. What is your interpretation? Mine: {Spoiler}
After Saito shoots himself and Cobb, the two fall deeper into limbo because of the heavy level of sedation. Ariadne, in the real world, constructs another dream for Cobb in which he is reunited with his children. Ariadne is the only person who had knowledge of all the team members, Cobb's father, and Cobb's children, whom she had previously seen in a dream.
Because of the amount of time spent in limbo, there is no way Saito and Cobb could have woken up in time to join the rest of the team. I'm sure I'm way off and there are holes somewhere, but thats what I think. Your thoughts?

I honestly thought the whole movie was a dream. {Spoiler}When Cobb's wife offed herself she was on the balcony opposite of their room's window. HOW THE HELL DID SHE GET THERE?

The ending was the worst part of all. There were so many things that went on during the scenes in the real world that it all had to of been a dream, which makes me really feel like it was all a giant waste of time.

{Spoiler}I never thought he was still dreaming. I think the still-spinning top was just put there in the end for the sole purpose of teasing the audience a little. But if I had to bet on it, I'd say Cobb was back in reality.

{Spoiler}Nolan's said that the cut was intentional to "impose an ambiguity outside the film" but the real point of the scene is that Cobb walked away from the spinning top to see his kids before he verified if it stopped or not, leaving it behind.

{Spoiler}It doesn't matter if it was dream or not, Cobb found a reality he was safe to embrace...That said I choose to think it was not a dream ending because it would have been a waste of time...But most things indicate otherwise.

{Spoiler}In Cobb`s dreams, he could never see his kid`s faces. Therefore, he knew that he was not dreaming, and he did not need to see if the top stopped spinning.

Random thought, remember in that scene where Cobb visits that cellar where all the old men are dreaming? He gets put under himself, when he wakes up he dashes to the bathroom and spins his spinner but it falls off the sink before we know whether it would have stopped spinning or not, then he gets interrupted by someone, and the scene ends.

He was definitely dreaming at the end. Sucks to be Cobb.

Christopher Nolan was dreaming when he wrote this forgive him if it goes astray. {Spoiler}But when I woke up this mornin' Coulda sworn it was judgment day
The sky was all purple There were people runnin' everywhere
Tryin' 2 run from the destruction U know I didn't even care
'Cuz they say two thousand zero zero party over Oops out of time So tonight I'm gonna party like it's 1999
I was dreamin' when I wrote this So sue me if I go 2 fast
But life is just a party And parties weren't meant 2 last
War is all around us My mind says prepare 2 fight
So if I gotta die I'm gonna listen 2 my body tonight
Yeah, they say two thousand zero zero party over Oops out of time So tonight I'm gonna party like it's 1999 Yeah
Lemme tell ya somethin' If U didn't come 2 party Don't bother knockin' on my door I got a lion in my pocket And baby he's ready 2 roar
Yeah, everybody's got a bomb We could all die any day But before I'll let that happen I'll dance my life away
They say two thousand zero zero party over Oops out of time We're runnin' outta time So tonight we gonna, we gonna (Tonight I'm gonna party like it's 1999)
Say it 1 more time Two thousand zero zero party over Oops out of time No, no So tonight we gonna, we gonna (Tonight I'm gonna party like it's 1999)
Alright, it's 1999 You say it, 1999 1999 1999 don't stop, don't stop, say it 1 more time
Two thousand zero zero party over Oops out of time Yeah, Yeah So tonight we gonna, we gonna (Tonight I'm gonna party like it's 1999)
Yeah, 1999 Don'tcha wanna go Don'tcha wanna go We could all die any day I don't wanna die I'd rather dance
