I just recently reactivated my account when they added the streaming only subscription. It's almost a too good to be true service.

I love it as well. Watch a movie with my dad on disc 6 out of 7 days of the week. On the other day we stream something. I don't mind having to wait for new releases either. As long as I still get to see it I'm happy.

Absolutely worth it! Streaming is my addiction, but I still take the time to rent the occasional disc. Usually a wrestling DVD (currently have an ROH DVD), but do switch it up with the latest "An Extra Side of Cheese" entry *cheap plug*. Netflix is a must have! You can always go back and forth each month if you have a wrestling fix that you need to rent stuff for. Yeah I'd start with one disc and work accordingly. I have the one disc and streaming plan. It's a steal and, as I mentioned, I do need some of the DVD's for my new web series.

In my case, I don't game enough to really shell out $15 a month to rent, but even that is cheaper than game rentals from a local place. I'll pitch in another vote for Netflix being excellent. The only thing that sucks is that not everything is available for streaming, but I make due with 1 DVD and streaming. I got the future GF a subscription of her own for Christmas, now we watch tons of stuff together over Xbox live. Everyone wins.

I use Gamefly with the 2-game plan and I think its worth. Especially with the Rewards program. You can buy games real cheap.

It will be the best 9$ a month (assuming you get the Instant Only plan) you've ever spent! I couldn't imagine not having it now.

Not on it yet, but am seriously considering it.
Netflix is great us, it's very, very bad for Blockbuster and it's ilk.

Found out just last week my local Blockbuster is closing. Surprised it lasted as long as it did.

I canceled my Dish Network because of it. I watch streaming every single day. I like to play programming director for me and my wife.

I don't think Netflix is bad, but I don't have it and don't want it, at this point. I have a very large pile of unwatched DVDs and LDs. I know what I'm going to watch in the limited time I have to watch stuff for far out into the future. I don't want to pay for a subscription to something that I'll feel obligated to use to justify paying for it, because there are times when I only want to re-watch stuff that I own that I've seen before. I'm also not wild about paying for access to videos that I don't own, when I can find most videos used/on sale for around $3-$5 these days, that I can watch whenever I want and keep forever.

Between WWE posting their shows on youtube (sans RAW) and Netflix I have ZERO need for cable tv.

It's fantastic. The streaming service has gotten me hooked to so many different shows that i've never gotten around to seeing.

I just dropped the disc service for streaming only. No issues with anything though. I know a few people don't like the wait period for new movies but, since I mainly stream things it never bothered me. Plus it's cheaper than rentals. My one complaint is seeing sooooo many of the things I want to watch as being listed as "DVD only". Still, there is plenty of things to watch via streaming, so I'm happy. When I first signed up about two years ago, most of everything was disc only. Then they did a massive overhaul/signed with some film companies for rights and it has been amazing ever since. I have the 1 DVD out/streaming account for $9 bucks. Only takes about a day between DVDs for me and I NEVER have a problem streaming anything. I got into Dexter because Netflix had the first two seasons up when I signed up. Best $9 bucks I've ever spent.
