Not on it yet, but am seriously considering it. Netflix is great us, it's very, very bad for Blockbuster and it's ilk. Blockbuster could have kept up if it didn't nerf its plans by increasing the cost and removing the free in-store rentals. I just have a basic VOD, there's not much, but enough decent classics and all the new releases to keep a guy going. Maybe 100 movies in total. Blockbuster did the thing were you could keep a movie as long as you want, with no late fees, suddenly, they changed their minds mid stream and said after x amount of days, they just charged you a re stocking fee. Well of course, I returned the shitty movies (and they were bad) like a day after this policy went in effect. They called me up to come get my movies. I just ignored them. Must be 5 years ago. If I ever go back to Blockbuster, I may go raise Hell about where my movies are. They apparently kept them away for me.

So, if I do end up signing up for Netflix, is the disc service and the streaming service two completely different things, or does it all go straight to the one account?

Love Gamefly. Turn around isn't as good as Netflix (takes maybe 4 to 5 days for a game from them where as 1 or 2 with Netflix) but, other than that they are great. I'm jealous, it usually took 12 days between sending and receiving a game for me and then there were the times where I never even got to play the games because the post office decided to send them back to Gamefly for some reason. Never got to play Viewtiful Joe because of that. I had that happen with a Netflix disk once. I was awaiting one of the Royal Rumble DVDs for several days but it had never arrived. Netflix shot me an email saying that they had received the DVD unopened, so they asked me if I had done it myself and wanted the next DVD on my queue, or if it was a post office error and I wanted it sent back to me. Other than that one hiccup (which actually wasn't Netflix's fault) and a billing mixup (which was my bank's fault), I've never had a problem with them. I have the 2 DVDs + streaming option. Best $15.89 a month ever.

EDIT: With all this Netflix talk could I suggest a dedicated thread? It's already here somewhere, on the main page or the second one. It's "What's in your Netflix queue."

Yeah, but that I believe is for guilty pleasure movies. I think he wants one big thread dedicated to it.

I know I'm late to the party here, but I highly recommend Netflix. Honestly, it's more or less the only way I get to watch any sort of movies these days. Sign up and enjoy!
