Speaking of the Jordan conspiracy theory, how about the one that the NBA rigged its games around the time of the early 90s boom era so that teams in bigger markets like chicago would be on top while lesser market teams like say cleveland would be on the botton? I actually believe that happens more now than it did then. It's in my opinion that the bigger market teams like the Lakers receive the championships and are advertised, given special treatment, and etc while lesser teams like say Cleveland, New Jersey, Indiana, and etc aren't given the time and day.

If that was true, then the Spurs would not have won a damn thing. On another note, anyone listening to the Coast to Coast AM prediction show? If you need a site to stream it, try KFI 680 AM from Los Angeles. www.kfiam640.com/main.html

If that was true, then the Spurs would not have won a damn thing. See, as crazy as this sounds, I believe a lot of it is a distraction to get people to think it's not fixed or hasn't been fixed for certain teams. For example, Lakers won three years in a row and two of those championships are very, very controversial due to the officiating and I firmly believe that their 2002 championship was very much fixed. Fans were complaining, sports analysts were calling for an investigation, and then next year the Spurs won. Ratings were low and the following year the Lakers acquired Gary Payton and Karl Malone. Of course they didn't win a championship but it's no secret that they made it to the finals again. I like to think that because the Spurs won championships it proves something. But to me? It really doesn't. I just feel like they did it to keep people from questioning the validity of the trophy.

For me, here are the ones I buy into: - Aliens in Roswell. I'm less convinced they were here influencing human culture because, if so, they've been missing for a LONG time. That said, yes, I do believe an alien craft crashed in the New Mexico desert and the US government is covering it up. Also am inclined to believe not just that there was a crash, but there may have been a survivor. - Plots to kill JFK, MLK and RFK. This is very near and dear to my heart as I am firmly convinced in a plot by higher ups in the US government to kill JFK because he was dangerous to the industrial military complex. MLK needed to be disposed of partially for his stance of non-violence in civil rights, but more because he too dared to stand up to the war in Vietnam. Finally, RFK as well because of the potential threats to the same. Could the Mafia and others have been involved? Sure, but it had to be plotted and executed by people who knew exactly how to cover it up and keep people silent and all make it look good. That's CIA and government run ops, people. - Cover ups in 9/11. No, I do NOT believe WTC 1 and 2 were intentionally destroyed, but I do think that WTC 7 was intentionally imploded and UAL 93 was actually shot down by our own planes. I certainly believe that people inside the government knew this attack was coming and were willing to make sacrificed to enter a war with Iraq. Means to an end, ya see. Those are the big ones, at least the ones that seem most plausible to me. I agree with all of these. Not to get into the political thing, but damn...it seems like if a government ISN'T engaging in some sort of conspiracy, it....well, it's not really behaving like a government, is it? ;D As far as cryptozoology goes...I'd love it if the "ocean beneath our ocean" theory turned out to be correct, and there actually WAS a place where prehistoric sea creatures were not only surviving, but thriving. Sadly, for most of our KNOWN species, it seems like going to the deepest, darkest depths of the oceans are the only escape they have from us.

Don't believe in ghosts (There are whole countries that don't have ghost sightings I am pretty sure if ghosts existed they wouldn't be so selective to what parts of the world they go to). And I don't buy most conspiracy theories (No one knows what they are doing enough to do such grand scale things without people easily knowing).
I do think that aliens exist (Too many planets and the fact that the universe is infinite) but I think its unlikely that any have technology to visit Earth.
My only messed up paranormal belief is why we dream. Scientists don't know why you die from a lack of sleep (Your heart doesn't fail you don't die of exhaustion you kind of just stop everything in your body is fully functioning). The chemical your body secrets when you dream is DMT a powerful hallucinogenic that also gets secreted when you both get born and die.
When you smoke DMT it is more powerful then anyother psychedelic drug ever. According to reports of people who have smoked DMT (Including comedian Joe Rogan) it feels like you are transported into another dimension rather then altering the world around you like most drugs.
My bat s*** crazy theory is that when you sleep you mind is taken to that dimension when you reach full Rem sleep and that if your mind can't enter that state then it checks out of your body. Not a perfect theory but I think there is something to the fact that you need that chemical. Also if you want to see why most conspiracy theories are BS (Especially 9/11 and World Government ones) go on conspiracyscience.com excellent website uses very reliable and cited sources.

Read something on Cracked today that mentioned self repairing paint. I thought that large paint companies like Dulux will never allow them to put on the market. Because who is going to buy paint in the future if the paint fixes itself. Anyway got me think of conspiracies of great inventions that have been made. But they won't be put on the market because large companies are afraid if the invention catches on, it will hurt their business in the long rune. Like: - The light bulb with the life span of half a century. - Batteries that last for decades. - Gum or Mouthwash that does a better job of cleaning your teeth then toothbrushes and toothpaste. - The electric car - the car that gets incredibly great gas mileage. - A formula that converts water into gasoline. Also there is the computer company stuff. One of my crazy friends say that Apple have an iPhone that can hold more then a 100gb of data. But they don't plan to release for another 5 years. Microsoft releasing bug infested programs so they can sell the fixes further down the line. I often hear that Vista was supposed to be s***ty, or that it was supposed to be like WIN7 but the developers ran out of time so they released Vista unfinished. And 7 is the finished product. See sometimes corporate conspiracies can be as interesting as government cover ups and state funded assassinations. Maybe it's because I've read so many government and similar theories so I'm used to them, but those corporation conspiracies are awesome! Are there more that you know of by any chance?

I am a slight conspiracy theorist in the sense that I believe that whoever controls the money/wealth of a nation controls the nation, and that the "elected" leaders are just puppets.

Hmmm There is an Urban Legend that the soft drink 'Fanta' was invented for Nazi ruled Germany. The thing goes that the Nazi party wanted their own national drink so they reached out to 'Coca Cola' (who make Fanta) to come up of drink for them. And Coke came up with the Orange colored soft drink for them. This was during that brief time before WWII were a lot Nazi related conspiracies begin because no one knew just how evil they were. It has proven to be untrue. Also untrue was that Heinz made Swastika Shaped Canned Pasta for Nazis. www.snopes.com/cokelore/fanta.aspwww.snopes.com/business/alliance/swastika.aspBTW if you want to look up on some corporate conspiracies : www.snopes.com/business/business.asp (language warning for some of the links)
