But it's the opposite of what you're probably thinking.
I can't stay mad. Not like, in the sense of your child or pet or a friend doing something bad, but then you're all "awwww I can't stay mad at you." Like, it's difficult to impossible for me to stay angry.
For example, some drama went down with a friend of mine a couple of days ago, and I was very mad at her. I won't go into specifics, we'll just say she doesn't like a lot about me and decided to bring that to my fiancee instead of me, and was a bitch about it...but the anger sort of subsided after about 10 minutes. After that I had to legitimately focus on what was making me angry to stay even remotely upset.
Beyond that, I just don't really get mad at almost anything that would make other people upset. Or if I do, as I said up there, it doesn't last very long.
I dunno if we have any psych students or people in the field or anything on here...but is this like, some sort of issue? Or am I just not an angry person?
Also, apologies for the ramblyness of this thread.

I'm like that and my grandmother was as well. She lived to 90 because of it (and a sense of humor helps). I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing, I'd rather let go than hold on to anger. I've seen people do that and it ends up messing them up even worse. I can't be one of those people. The only problem with this is you tend to forgive too much (I put myself in this category) and some people can take advantage of it.

Like, I don't really look at it as a fault, I like it...but I always feel weird when I'm not mad about stuff that I probably should be.

The only time I truly get mad is if someone abuses a child or animal. Luckily,no one I know personally has ever done this. It takes a lot to get me angry.

That's not an anger problem, that's having a cool head.
Unless my rage is involved with either A) a situation that ought to be taken care of quickly, or B) something horrible happening to someone, it doesn't linger. I try not to dwell on B.S.

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one who just...doesn't get mad very often at all.

Misleading thread titles for the win. Honestly, sounds like an awesome 'problem' to me.

Misleading thread titles for the win. Honestly, sounds like an awesome 'problem' to me. Misleading people is the best! And yeah, honestly, it really IS an awesome "problem". I'm the sort of person who hates confrontation and negativity anyway, so I guess being angry sort of goes along with that. I'm very happy I'm not mad all the time. It's just that I'm mad so very little, and stay mad for such a short time, that I didn't know if like...that's normal, or something.

A funny thing is, I've had people get angry at me for not being as angry as them about things. I've been called names because of it. I'd rather be like my grandmother any day.

I don't mean to change the subject, but how stoked are you for the SSTB tour? I am. I shit my pants when they announced it.

I'm just so mad all the time. They found a switchblade in my locker at school. I took a swing at a cop.

Even when I should like when one of my dogs tears something up, I'll give him a "NO!" and that's it, I just can't stay mad either. Just realized I kinda went against what you were saying, but it still fits ;D

A funny thing is, I've had people get angry at me for not being as angry as them about things. I've been called names because of it. I'd rather be like my grandmother any day. People do that exact thing to me. I've been accused of "trying to start drama" because I get over things faster than other people For me it depends a bit on the subject. Some things are touchier than others and I'll be more likely to stay mad longer, but for almost any situation I don't stay mad nearly as long as most people do.

Also, was totally not expecting this thread to be bumped so much later.
