i usually have a cigar at new years eve you cant beat a whiskey and cigar so yeah cigars are cool with me the ones we usually get are King Edwards. although i have to say that some of the anti-smokers response on here seemed very patronizing and rather unnecessary seeing as all the author of this thread did was ask if anyone enjoyed smoking cigars. Yea it kinda is unncecessary but whatever. Dont agree with the whiskey and a cigar though. Not really big into whiskey. Coffee and a cigar is where its at. Never heard of or had a King Edward. I gotta look into it.

I never said anything towards people who smoke the things or looked down on them for doing it. Just said that I find it silly that someone would consider smoking a cigar "healthy". No patronizing at all. What do I care if someone wants to smoke? Not my body they're gumming up.

All I'm trying to say is that it's not that bad of a way to reduce stress. I'll take sitting with my friends smoking cigars and shooting the breeze over alot of other things.

Just not healthy. ;D I do prefer having to smell cigar smoke over cigarette smoke if I have to be subjected to one or the other.

And the funny thing is no cigarette smoker ever asks non smokers if they mind if they smoke. Whenever I'm around people that don't smoke when I'm smoking a cigar, I ask if they don't mind because I know the smell bothers them. I try to stay as far away from them as possible as to not bother them.

I actually don't mind the smell of a pipe. That's not too bad at all and reminds me of my grandpa.

I have a cigar thatI received as a Christmas gift that I'm waiting for the right opportunity to smoke.
Right opportunity meaning a time when it's not 20 degrees out, since Mrs. Schlapowitz makes me smoke outside!

What kind of cigar?

I'm generally a nonsmoker (I don't rag on smokers though), but I do enjoy a good cigar once in a while.

Never cigars much. Once every two years or so would be frequent. I suck cigarettes down like Coca-Cola though

Never smoked anything, but I love the smell of cigars. Of course I don't mind the smell of cigarettes or pretty much anything else so maybe that's why. No interest in trying them, but I do love the smell

I definitely enjoy a cigar from time to time. I actually used to be a bit of a madman and inhale the damn things, but I've wised up on that front.
I've got a few Dutch Masters right now. As someone else said, though, summer is when it really becomes an active thing. There's something I love about a clear summer night, the open road, windows down, '50s music, and a nice cigar.
I've also enjoyed them at the Fanfest. August nights in North Carolina, surrounded by old school fans and the legends of wrestling. The smoking area of the Charlotte Hilton is out back by one of those man made lakes with a fountain and a footbridge, etc. Just sitting around talking wrestling with some great fans (and sometimes the wrestlers) in that environment is awesome.

I always assumed the no alcohol rule was because there are impressionable young people about. The same impressionable young people who might give smoking a whirl.
