Just wondering if anyone else here enjoys smoking cigars. There's really nothing better than a nice cigar. It's actually pretty healthy for you I say. Smoking a cigar forces you to sit and relax for awhile.
So who else smokes them and if so what kind?

It's actually healthy. One of the guys at the cigar store told me that and I agree with him. He told his wife that the only chance he gets to sit down, relax and not be stressed out is when he's at the cigar lounge with all the guys. You work your stressful job and I'll sit and smoke my cigar lol. In the end, we all wind up in the same place anyway so might as well light up.

Of course the guy selling the things would say they're healthy. Yoga, walking, meditating, painting, reading, hell even watching TV or playing video games are all things that relieve stress without the added risk of polluting your lungs with 3 times the amount of crap in 1 cigarette. And you're right, we all end up in the same place, but I'd much rather prefer taking longer to get there and being more comfortable while I do.

It wasnt the guy selling them that said it. Cigars are getting no love here yet. Can't really say I'm too surprised though. There's gotta be someone who enjoys a fine cigar as much as I do.

Well, whoever it was that said it doesn't really matter. That's like saying "I find it relaxing to do heroin, it really takes the edge out of my daily life." but on a much lesser extent.

Bad for you or not it smells like shit, and looks like your sucking on a turd.
I don't get it. I don't get smoking in general. I tried a non-filtered cigarette once (for a movie role) and instantly starting spitting up black shit. f*** that.

From my understanding cigars are healthier than cigarettes... But I definitely wouldn't call them HEALTHY.
But yeah, I never really understood smoking either. But hey, whatever floats your boat. If you're gonna smoke, at least make it a bit classier and do it via cigar or pipe. That's what I've always thought.

Black & Mild's are pretty popular around here. On the plus side, they don't smell bad.

Not a massive fan of smoking, but I will say that Cigar smoking does look very cool and tastes a lot better than a cigarrette.

Cigars only hurt your lungs if you inhale. The biggest cancer risk for a cigar is Jaw,and Salvary glands.

Alright, I'm getting some support here. I look at it this way, most people who smoke cigars have about one a day if that. Cigarette smokers have way more than one so it is better than cigarettes. I'm an occasional smoker. I average one every two weeks during the winter but during the summer when it's nice I'm smoking around 2 or 3 a week. I do know some people who inhale them which is just plain stupid.
And of course the finest cigar I've ever had is an authentic cuban. My friend's uncle smuggles them back in the legs of his walker when he goes there every year. We always look forward to it.

i usually have a cigar at new years eve you cant beat a whiskey and cigar so yeah cigars are cool with me the ones we usually get are King Edwards.
although i have to say that some of the anti-smokers response on here seemed very patronizing and rather unnecessary seeing as all the author of this thread did was ask if anyone enjoyed smoking cigars.

One thing I loved doing was when I lived back in Philly, me and a few friends would go to one of our favorite hangouts, where we were the youngest people there by an average of about 30 years. We'd buy a few cigars, order Martinis and/or whiskey rocks and sit there and pump up some Sinatra into the Jukebox. All the old guys there loved us, as we were the only long haired dudes in Slayer shirts who would do anything like that.
