Not that re-hashing the regular season matters (obviously) but the Jets won in Pittsburgh on a blown non-call on pass interference in the end zone last month. So the game was tight if nothing else. And Troy was out too. It'll be a much tougher game this time.

Again, you have no empirical proof that Spygate had any effect on any of those Super Bowl wins or Brady's abilities as a QB other than your biases. Try again. So all of the reputed cheating done by the Patriots don't make it easier to win the games? 1) If you know which plays they are practicing you can reduce the number of plays that you prepare for, meaning that you are better prepared than a non-spying team would be. 2) Stealing signals allows you to combine your pre-existing knowledge of the plays that they prepared with knowing exactly which plays are coming. If I know that a team is going to run a stretch play to the right, I certainly can come up with a play to take advantage of that and get a tackle for a loss out of the play. 3) The Patriots have been accused of other forms of espionage. The team had been accused of intercepting opposing team coach-QB radio transmissions at their home games. Teams responded by using scrambled signals, which brought new accusations of flat out scrambling transmissions of the opposing team. That was the reason that teams went back to hand signals in the first place, which is why the Patriots could get caught recording those hand signals in the first place. Are you going to tell me that opposing teams having to rely on hand signals are not at a disadvantage when the Patriots can use the headsets without the same interference?

Can't f***ing believe it, hats off to the Jets, they're a force to be reckoned with! I wasn't on the "Jets are the greatest team evar!!!1" bandwagon, but dammit they've beaten two of the NFL's elite teams, where else can they go but up? The Steelers will be tough for them, but I could honestly see the Jets beating them. The Colts are not an elite team, and the Patriots played like crap tonight. That being said, I think the next game could go either way, but whoever wins is going to have Green Bay's children at the Superbowl.

Well, this makes next weekend easier for me. Instead of forgoing a full day of sleep before going to work (I work overnights), I'll just watch Bears-Packers. Though I'll root for the Steelers in my sleep.
(James Harrison is fined $15,000 for affecting people's dreams).

It is going to be Jets / Packer in the Superbowl, the all green Superbowl, and all 6th seeds. And Brett Farve's worst nightmare.

Beating the Colts in the playoffs is no great shakes, they're mediocre.. Sadly I'm worried the Patriots are turning out to be the same. They crapped all over themselves for parts of this game, did the same against Baltimore last year and couldn't close the deal in the Superbowl. It's a bad trend and hopefully they can right the ship in the future. Still need a pass rusher and a second CB.

Superbowl : Steelers vs Packers. I really hope Packers take it all. With four teams left this is the best case scenario for me. Steelers vs. Packers is best. Jets vs. Packers is .. watchable. Anyone vs. Bears = First Superbowl not watched since I started watching football. Would have no possible rooting interest what so ever.

That being said, I think the next game could go either way, but whoever wins is going to have Green Bay's children at the Superbowl. The Colts were only not an elite team due to the fact that literally 1/3 of their roster were injured at the end of the season. Without those injuries, they return most of those players that went 14-2 and were the defending AFC Champions. They had players that still know how to ruin your day (they did win 10 games, after all), so the Jets don't have to feel like that win meant nothing. Still, no one wants to listen to Rex Ryan's huge mouth. Let him think that the games that they win mean nothing so that his mouth does not write checks that his players have to cash.

Replace "Nintendo 64!" with "PATRIOTS LOSE" and you pretty much have my reaction!
Aaaah, New England losing. Is there anything better?
I know this means nothing, but apparently some are preparing for a Steelers win in the Super Bowl. "Stairway to Seven" and "Stairway to 7" have already been trademarked.
But for now, PATRIOTS LOSE! PATRIOTS LOSE! WOOOOO!!!!!
*does Flair strut*

Early lines out for the games:
Pitt favored by -4 over the Jets. Packers favored by -3 @ Chicago.
