Where the f*** is Gabriel Iglesias? Off being un-funny somewhere. That's my guess. This is a tough vote. It's between Candy, Farley, James, Black, and Richter. Probably in that order for me. I've enjoyed every movie that John and Chris have done, and I love them pretty equally. Ahhhhhhhh. I guess I'm going with Candy.

Is there a poll choice for anyone who's not from North America?

He is good, but I grew up on Sam Kineson. I cannot be the only one to remember how hilarious he was.

Other Lavell Crawford. He even looks funny. Yeah I remember a stand-up bit he did where he was talking about how good his mom's cooking was. "I'd even eat the curtains if she prepared them right" His Thanksgiving monologue is awesome. "God don't want you no more, you already died once!"

Maybe it's just me, but while Sam Kinison was a bit overweight, I don't consider him in the same level of "fat comics" as a lot of the others in this poll. Same with Rodney Dangerfield. They were overweight, but more in the "average American" way rather than "paint them red and they look like an apple" way.

I voted Farley, though I really love Patton Oswalt and Bruce Bruce.

Chris Farley. The dude just flat out makes me laugh. Now, if you'd asked who the best ACTOR was, overall, I'd have said John Goodman, every time.

John Candy. Man I wish he was still around. I loved his roles because they were hilarious but a lot of heart in them too.

Chris farley is the funniest in the last 30 years. I never found Sam Kinison that funny considering his act was just yelling in the microphone.

Yeah, I have the same problem with Sam Kinison that I do with Chris Rock and Dane Cook. Yelling stuff doesn't make that stuff funny. It just makes it loud. The exception that proves the rule is, of course, Lewis Black. His stuff is loud AND funny.

He is one of those few orators that can make even the dullest of Shakespeare sound riveting and exciting. As for fat guys, I'm going standup only for the time being, a tie between Gabriel Iglesias and John Pinette. "FREE WIRRY!"
