Okay, for anyone else who has sat through this film, which I love and all, I have a question:
Who the hell are the older couple Melissa and her sister live with?
1. They're not the sisters' parents, as we see thanks to the flashback.
2. Are they just some people that Melissa forced into serving as her family? Why do they share her last name?
3. Perhaps one of them is Melissa's parents' other child, born later after the flashback and thus her brother or sister?
4. Is that *really* where the fish live? Really?

Oh I made a burpee. I think that the older couple was probably her great grandkids or great great grandkids or whatever. Just because she's cursed doesn't mean she hasn't gotten busy. And her sister most likely killed the suitors afterwards.

I still think of this more as a USA Up All Night film from the Gilbert Gottfried years.
