Are we seeing the start of a mini push of sorts? After months of nothing happening he shows up at the Slammies, wins on Superstars, gets his own segment on Smackdown and then this week, is Truth's stand in on NXT.
At the very least, in the space of two weeks, he's the only superstar to appear on all 4 shows.

I doubt it, although it would make sense for them to get him out of the jobber ranks. He gets a bigger pop than a decent proportion of the mid carders...

I hope the guy gets a push. Too much talent to get FE'd.

I like JTG so I'd like to see him get a push.
Plus, like Andy82 said, he always gets a good pop from the crowd. I'm not sure why the WWE don't push him tbh since he's obviously pretty over.
Besides, Ziggler really needs a new person to feud with other than Kofi Kingston. Might as well let JTG be that guy.

Do you really want to hear JTG cut promos on Vickie? That feud would be awful, plus Dolph already squashed him a few weeks ago.

Urgh, I forgot about Vickie. I know the WWE wouldn't be able to resist giving JTG a bunch of fat jokes to make and maybe even have a person in a fat suit come to the ring. That seems to be what the WWE considers the height of comedy.
Still, take Vickie out of the question and just have JTG's and Dolphs feud centred around a series of matches and I think it could work since they're both pretty decent in the ring.

Maybe it's a coincidence, but I find something immensely depressing about JTG getting a lot more screen time immediately after the other black rapper wrestler takes some time off.

I hope so, I'm a fan of the guy. He's over and he's a good wrestler.

The gimmick is f***ing annoying, but he can go in the ring. He needs to just take the Shad repackaging gimmick, but only as a face instead of heel.
Is his current gimmick a stereotype or does he really act like that confirming the stereotype as true? Either way, the act was stale years ago. He's never going to be anything besides a kind of over jobber unless he updates.

They should have him do something. He's over with the crowd. Plus, Vince should want to use him because, like Vince, JTG is all about the money...money...
...yeah yeah.
