Were the contestants in on the joke? In other words, were they aware that they were being subjected to the humiliating jokes etc? Was all of this a work, the humiliating commentary and such? Or did the WWE not care because they have to have known some of the girls were not ready?

AJ and Naomi were definitely the real deal while Maxine could have done well on the main roster with her character. Still, the show as a whole was played for laughs.

the biggest joke of it,was the result, who the winner was, from all the participants
But some fo them looked into some times, others were very seriously
It looked like Aksana was really into the jokes..or gimmick

Maxine could have done well on the main roster with her character. I liked Maxine but she really didn't have much of a character outside of being generic mean girl who likes to be ON TOP. well it was quite hard to make a sexual innuendo gimmick on PG era

If the show is suppose to be treated as a joke and the WWE knew most of the girls weren't ready, what was the point of having Kaitlyn win, as opposed to someone who was ready like AJ or Naomi?

The ratings around the end showed what happens when you put on bad television for the sake of bad television. One issue I had with it was when I went to a Smackdown event. I paid money to see that crap. People were practically forced to watch it, because they wanted to see the Smackdown show, and see a wrestling show. And, they started off great, they had a dark match with Barreta and Hawkins, and then they went with this garbage. So, they had to either sit there, or do what I did, left looking for a CM Punk shirt, which I'm wearing now. Or get beer. Or piss, because of the beer drinking.
But that's what frustrated me. Wrestling live is a lot better then it is on tv. Plus, it was the go home show before the Bragging Rights pay per view, I think anyway. But, people had to sit through the bad parts. They had to sit through people with no talent, going out there and potentially hurt themselves, because they have nice boobs and they laid down on the casting couch. And they justify it by going, oh, it's just crash tv, just bad for the sake of bad. Well, I'm sorry, but I don't want to watch something that's bad, especially if I paid money for it! f***
It just irritates me. The worst wrestling program ever, and I'm not trying to exaggerate, it was the worst I've ever seen. They may've been in on the joke, but it's sad because obviously, they were going to do what they're told, no matter if they go out there and hurt themselves, they want to be on tv. And that's another thing that frustrates me. There's a discussion in the TNA threads about the Rob Terry chair shot and potential lawsuits. This is why I don't like it when people talk about banning chair shots. It's not chairshots. It's two things. People want to go out there and want to impress so badly, that they'll do any stupid thing, and it's a complete lack of competence. This should be bitched at for safety reason. Banning chairshots only takes away part of the problem. And NXT Season 3 was the problem. What if some of those green girls injured themselves out there? Because WWE was so stupid they thought, well, they are hot, let's have them go out there and wrestle in front of a live crowd and potentially hurt themselves.
They don't want people to try it at home, but of course people are going to think they can do it, when every chick in a modeling agency, can go out there and play wrestler. f*** NXT Season 3 and the people at WWE who thought it was a good idea.

heh... and I bought my Smackdown ticket just so I could watch NXT. To each his own, I guess.

The point was never the best wrestler, but who Johnny Acethe fans found to be the hottest. And that's why the blonde with the biggest rack won
