I can see a big SWEEERVE coming
Wade Barrett eliminated in a fluke elimination (like missing a clothesline on an opponent, then he goes over the top rope), with all Nexus but one already in the Rumble.
And this one, David Otunga, is the next entrant in the Rumble... but Barrett, in his way back to the locker room, would ask Otunga to give him his Rumble spot. Otunga would reluctantly do it.
There you go for the end of Nexus and a new feud

I'd rather it was someone else. I wouldnt mind Barrett vs Gabriel, if Barrett takes Gabriel's Rumble spot, but Otunga vs anyone just does not interest me.

If Barrett is destined to win the Rumble, I'd like to see it done by making Nexus show solidarity again. Have the last five people be Nexus guys, and Barrett orders the other four to eliminate themselves and give him the win. They each climb a turnbuckle to go to the ring apron, and simultaneously drop down.

Even better is to have Otunga show some reluctance in doing so, playing even further into his dissatisfaction with Barrett.

It was wrong the GM allowed it to stand when he made Cena eliminate himself.

While it makes sense that whole WWE roster should come out and take out Nexuws next time Nexus is potted in WWE with way WWE is making Nexus-free RAW aas a bi deal, I don't think Cena's self-elimination is illegal. It's not even that Cena has to follow Barrett's orders or not. Once you go over the top rope and your both feet touch the floor, you are out. There are no excuses or redos after that. Though whole Nexus angle got quite filled with plotholes (IMO) once Nexus became so fixated on Barrett getting the WWE title and others becoming his goons.

If that was the end of the Royal Rumble. It'd be the worst Royal Rumble ever.

I don't want Nexus involved in the Rumble. We already did that storyline as recently as 2009's.

Even slightly. I mean he could have ordered Cena to lean over the top rope so he could flip him over easily and it would have been better.

Even slightly. I mean he could have ordered Cena to lean over the top rope so he could flip him over easily and it would have been better. That is no grounds for restart. From kaydaybe, it was done so Cena looks like a chump, much worse than HBK as Barrett was shown to be much crueller than JBL (but I doubt not many remember that or make connection). Outside of kayfaybe reasons, it gave Barrett very much heat. The tensions on part of crowd between choice of Cena keeping his job (which they want) or Cena winning (which they also want) was what made the moment nice. And by Barrett making Cena have all the control on that (rock and hard place) choice, Barrett was made to look like a mega heel. And that is why I felt the crowd didn't care Cena didn't stay "fired" but kept his word that he would take out Nexus. They just wanted to see Nexus and more importantly Barrett get what they deserve according to them (crowd). Though I felt they should have extended to WM but I can see that they didn't want to give the "rookies"/Barrett that much of Lesnar push
