Like, did his ownership on them expire, or does he still own them but just not do much with it or what?
And related, how did Austin stunning Test and Steiner then drinking a beer and stunning Stacy Keibler free her exactly?

Well he did trade Brooke for Lance Hoyt.
Perhaps a mistake in some people's eyes.

Well, when Mick Foley was a GM of Raw, he fired both Steiner and Test, meaning Stacy was a free woman. But later didn't sign the release forms and likely gave Steiner and Test new contracts. Stacy was free to do what she wants without being abused by those two jackasses.

No, Miz purchased the Manager rights for Extreme Expose, which was Kelly Kelly's dance troupe. Apparently the Striper who can't strip, and the wrestler who can't wrestle wasn't good enough for Kelly, she had to become the dancer who could not dance. Fine, moving on. What my guess is, the contract included all three, or none at all, so when Kelly got her release from Miz, Layla and Brooke were free as well to seek other representation.

It still baffles me how giving a strunner to Stacy resulted in cheers from the audience. Stacy didn't want a beer and got hurt for it. This doesn't make sense to me.
Although, Austin could take a s*** in the ring and get cheered.

I thought it was right before, which was the reason why it was really, really awkward at the time.

The Austin stunning Stacy thing came after the allegations by Debra of abuse, so it was definitely uncomfortable watching him strike a (blonde) woman.
