I've been wondering if any of you tried Mexican Coke or any of Pepsi's Throwback sodas?
What's different from American Coke and regular Pepsi is that they used real sugar, as opposed to high-fructose corn syrup.
I bought a case of both Mountain Dew Throwback and Heritage Dr. Pepper from the local Wal-Mart in MD, and I tried a can of Dew Throwback, but I can't make a conclusion, since it's been a while since I drank Dew.
Your thoughts?

Pepsi Throwback is amazing. I imagine Mexican Coke is much the same.

Throwback Mountain Dew is really good. Quite a different taste than normal Mountain Dew. I do enjoy all of the pops made with real sugar as well.

A general belief is that the sugar-based sodas tastes better than today's corn syrup-based sodas.
But I'm wondering if they sell them where you live?
In MD/DC, I've seen cases of Mexican Coke and Pepsi Throwback at the local Costco. It costs more than the original versions.

Mexican Coke has a better taste, but normally does not have as much fizz as American Coke. Same can go for Mexican Pepsi v Pepsi Throwback. There is more fizz in the American, at least from my experience.

Mexican Coke and Pepsi Throwback are proof that subsidies and taxes are much more important than delicious, refreshing and crisp flavor of the highest caliber.

I can tell you this much: don't ever, ever, offer Charlie Sheen Mexican Coke and then give him a soda.
Your night will not end well.

I tried Pepsi Throwback even though I normally didn't drink Pepsi. Too sweet for me. It actually bothered my teeth and gums.

I don't like Pepsi Throwback, because I always just drink diet anyway, so regular Pepsi is a bit much.
Mountain Dew is the only non-diet pop I'll touch. Mountain Dew Throwback is so amazing.
I'd love to try the Dr. Pepper one, but I've never seen it. I've never had Mexican Coke, though I live in a VERY Jewish neighborhood, so I might be able to find Kosher Coke (same idea)

Mexican Coke is awesome. I love it.
Cannot get enough of it... whenever I see a glass bottle, I. MUST. HAVE. SOME.

Mexican Coke is great, now if they would sell it outside of just glass bottles.
Dublin DP (or Heritage Dr. Pepper) is AMAZING.

I love Mexican Coke as it reminds me of McDonald's coke. More stronger.
Didn't like the throwbacks except for Dr. Pepper but can't find that one around here anymore

Is there any truth to the rumor that Mr. Pibb is planning on going back to school to get his degree? It's really too bad he had to drop out and start making pop so soon...
