Yeah, he's right, the bell is called Big Ben, the clock doesnt have a name, it's simply a clock housed within the Clock Tower of the North end of the Palace of Westminster.
Personally I think the bell should be renamed Big Suze, because everyone knows a Big Suze.

When did THE GAY COMMUNITY (!!??) move to Off Topic? I've just spent half an hour looking for you guys in the "(w)rest of..." section... I like the Big Suze idea from Legion, as by wierd (but probably not very exciting) coincidence the biggest Suze in my life has spent years trying to help young people who are coming out, and would love the fact that this thread exists.  |

Potentially it's a European thing, but it's also from a TV show Peer Show, and just something that my friends and I discovered, namely that everyone knows someone called Susie/Suzie who tends to be a big character. |
